the voices of the whole school echoed in my head again in my sleep and I jerk back to life. It wasn't a dream that I said yes to Ethan's proposal to being his girlfriend,God knows I didn't want to say no it would seem so bad if I had said no and everyone would have wondered how I dared to turn down the most handsome not in my opinion though,muscled up guy in school who was the best swimmer of white college,i mean a lot of girls are tripping over him and the fact that I was a popular girl in school required I date a popular guy as well. This is my first time of dating in school and this is my last semester in school so I just gave in into Adriana's advise to have a little fun before leaving school. Yeah I wanted to date not literally have fun like Andriana calls it and my dream guy to date was none other than a looser in school "Aaron salmon".I seat down and wonder why I like a guy who goes to the Library like it's his home,not like I do not read,wears that huge glasses making him look like a nerd,everytime I see him walking down the hallway I ask myself

"Monique,what makes you so crazy about him?,is it cuz I'm also a bookaholic"if that even exist but no that wasn't it ,I am a popular party bad ass girl who is known to never read which is actually very false cuz I do a lot of reading at home even after parties so that's not why I like Aaron,its just a feeling I can't explain and I've never told anyone cuz they'll just think I'm making it up

"Monique"I heard dad call from the kitchen

"Yeah dad,i'm coming"I hurried to the restroom and freshened up then wore my normals a short jeans skirt and a purple tan top tucked in and brushed my curly long dark hair then headed down the stairs with my handbag

"Hey dad"I greeted dropping my bag on the couch and heading to the kitchen to have my morning kiss on my forehead.

"So what are we having for breakfast?I asked and sighted the brown mustard with cookies and I open my mouth in surprise

"Yeah hunay,your mom's fav."he said smiling and served for two.The death of my mum really hit my dad although I didn't know my mom at all cuz she died while giving birth to me so my birthday is never celebrated cuz I wouldn't want my dad to flashback old memories and not like he didn't want me to celebrate but I always leave the house a day to my birthday so he wouldn't have to force me into doing what I don't want to.

"C'mon let's have breakfast"he said as he gestured me to take a seat

While eating breakfast he had told me about the operation he had done on a cancer patient yesterday which failed and I consoled him telling him the patient was bound to die anyways,it was cancer,it obviously didn't have a cure.
Just when I was done I received a new text from Adriana telling me the professor of English was about to give them a test in thirty minutes

"Fuck it dad,i totally forgot I gat a test this morning"I sounded astounded and my dad just shook his head and wished me good luck.
