Chapter 26: It's prom

Wearing a red Levander fluffy gown with a silver heel and my curly hair was brushed smooth making me look like Elena Gilbert. It was all Andriana's idea

"So what about your prom date?,a.s.k?"she asked making me sense happiness right in her face

"Look, I don't think he'll show up"

"What do you mean 'you don't think he'll show up?

"We had an argument after you had fainted and I kind of told him to let me be"I stated already expecting her to scold the bejesus  outta me. Trust sometimes she gave me heebie-jeebies

"What, you're cockkoo "

"I totally forgot about prom"

"Yeah since you weren't even interested. I shouldn't have made you run without your permission" she said looking heartbroken

"I'm glad I'm running for prom queen Andy and I'll make sure I call aaron" I didn't know how I'll do that but I just had to didn't want Andy to see me as ungrateful

The event had started right I'm white college hall and I still haven't seen aaron anywhere. I called and texted him but he gave me no reply guess he was just abiding by my rules

"I still can't find aaron anywhere"

"Um, he's on his...."I got interrupted by ethan. He was wearing a black and white tuxedo and cymphonique was beside him wearing a blue tube long fitted gown which cupped up her breasts

"Awwwn, don't tell me you're gonna get ditched by a nerd" Ethan mimicked

"Imaging waiting up for a nerd"she feigned thinking"how stupid"she added with a laughter

Andriana wanted to hit her with the rage that was boiling through her but I stopped her and gestured her to ignore them

Ethan and cymphonique finally left

"Sometimes o just want to shove it right on their faces that aaron is actually a.s.k, I'm sure little miss cym won't bother having to wait up for him"she said in disgust has she sipped her glass of lemonade. Ethan and cymphonique were the least of my problems right now, I was just ogling at the entrance waiting for Aaron

I hope he shows up

"Attention everyone, would the nominated prom queens and Kings step out to take the dance floor"The m.c announced

"Oh, finally he's here"she said as she tan towards aaron who was looking so dazzling in a red and white tuxedo which matched my dress......what a coincidence

Aaron approached me and I smiled but he didn't

"C'mon the other contestants are on the dance floor, you two should go as well" Andriana said as she pushed aaron and I to the dance floor

It was Ed Sheeran's perfect that was playing, aaron and I danced slowly to the song as his right hand was wrapped around my waist and the other on my shoulder.
"I figured I should tell you that I'm going back to Turkey tomorrow and I'm never gonna come back" Aaron said looking at me in the eyes

"Cool"that's all I said, that's not what I wanted to say,i wanted to tell him not to go but pride shut me down

Suddenly the whole audience were applauding as I realized it was the end of the dance and Hanna and just finished theirs with a kiss then I quickly moved my gaze to andriana whose eyes was widened in shock

"Andriana"

"He didn't even tell me he was gonna break up with me

"He couldn't have cuz he's nothing but a jerk. He was always cheating on you right from day one

"That's why you didn't like him?"

I nodded in affirmation

"Why didn't you tell me Monique?"

"I didn't wanna hurt you"

"Well you just did" She said as she walked out of the party crying. Aidan must have sighted her as well cuz he ran after her and I was going to but aaron pulled me back with my hand

"She needs her time alone" Aaron said and I obeyed by sitting down feeling so bad that I just hurt my best friend thinking I was protecting her

"Do you think she'll forgive me?"I asked looking depressed

"It depends, you didn't forgive.e for my mistake and I don't know if Andy is just like you" Aaron said sipping a glass of wine

I looked away because he was gonna drag our matters into what was happening, I didn't want that. Next thing i spot Andriana and Aidan walk in and I ran to meet them

"How you doing now Andy?"

"I'm good, I know you were just tryna protect me and I didn't tell you I actually was taking my relationship with Josh seriously" She said and I pulled her into a tight hug

"C'mon lets get back to the party"She said as she wiped her face"you too aidan, jean is waiting for you"

"You good?" Aidan asked in assurance

"Never better"Andriana smiled then he gave her a kiss on the cheek and went to meet jean, his prom date

"So will all the contestants step on stage?"The m.c said as his instruction was adhered to "so I'm gonna remove three pairs before I declare the winner"

"Natasha and Noel, Hanna and josh, cymphonique and ethan please leave the stage"

"Oh my, that's bullcrap"cymphonique said before leaving the stage

"Now our prom queen and king for this session is none other than " My heart actually started beating quite fast

"Monique and Aaron!!!!"The m.c shouted and I got way too excited that I hugged aaron tightly or should i say squeezed him. Andriana also cheered me up as aaron and I both wore our crowns

It was the best moment ever

"So let's have the prom queen and king's dance"

Aaron and I danced and when it was over he just walked out on me, I was ready to tell him o wanted to give our relationship another chance but he left leaving me heartbroken
