He bursted out in laughter and I felt so puzzled
"I'm sorry, I just can't stop laughing"he laughed so hard was looking uncontrollable

"It's not funny aaron"

"Of course it is, what makes you think I'm a.s.k"

"Cuz a.s.k didn't go for his concert and that same day you told someone over the phone you couldn't make it

"Gosh, c'mon nique, I couldn't go cuz of your birthday and besides I actually wanted to go but my friend had called me up again to not bother coming cuz a.s.k wasn't even there. And you very well know I love a.s.k songs, I'm a huge fan. Should I be honest with you?

I raised my eyebrows

"I actually try everyday to look just like him so at least I'd have a position in school as the guy who's a.s.k resemblance" he explained and once again I misunderstood everything and I had to apologize again

"Don't hide things from me Monique, say it and I'll explain,i really don't like how you misinterpret me everytime"

"I'm sorry Aaron for being so skeptical"I said avoiding having to look in his eyes

Then a few students had passed us,laughing as they left saying I agreed to date a looser.

"That's exactly why I wanted to look just like a.s.k at least you won't get laughed at Everytime you're with me"

Awwwn,its so nice to know that he cares about me

"I don't care about what people think anymore aaron, and you should also do the same and just be yourself instead of trying hard to look like a celeb"I advised cuz some obsessive fans go as far as having a surgery done to look like their favorite artiste

"Yeah I'll be myself, I gotta go. I'm running late"

"Where are you off to?

"I got some unfinished projects to do and I gotta go home quickly

"Me too,why don't we both go to your house and get it done"I proposed hoping he won't say no

"Um......o.....okay then, let's go"he said like he was thinking it through but he still said yes so I was damn glad

I had used my car to drive us to Aaron's house and seems like he wasn't rich,he had such a small house like that of a cottage bit

"Welcome to my humble abode"he said nicely

"Your home is quite small,are you the only occupant here?"I asked

"Nope,i stay with here as well"a short guy announced coming towards me with an extended hand
"I'm Rodger, Aaron's ma....."aaron cleared his throat"I mean Aaron's friend"he corrected

"Monique chestnut....."Rodger cut me off

"Aaron's girlfriend, he says a lot about you my lady,ge sure is damn right,you are a black diamond"he said pulling my wrist gently and placing a kiss on it which felt quite weird

"That's enough Rodger"Aaron said pulling me away from him
"Would you like to eat anything?"

"Nah, I'd like to use the restroom first"

"Okay then

I gave him a look of where the bathroom is but he didn't seem to understand

"Where is the restroom"

"Ohhhh....."he looked around like he didn't know where the restroom was
"Rodger please lead the lady to the restroom"

Rodger nodded and led me to the restroom which was close to the kitchen. I entered and closed the door,

What a weird human being the restroom was right here and he didn't know or probably he felt weird to follow me to the ladies, I shook my head then washed my face then used a towel to dry out my face

"We're finally done with the projects,i wanna go home now"

"But it's kinda late"he looked at his wristwatch

"I know but I have a car"I said then packed my books into my handbag

"Okay,let me escort you,rodger I'll be back soon"he shouted

"Alright" Rodger replied from where I figured was the bedroom

Aaron escorted me to my car and there was a bit of silence until I cleared my throat and waved him goodbye then he pulled me so close to him,never knew a nerd could be so romantic but that was the thing he was different from the other nerds. So he just gave me a short kiss on my lips would have preferred it long but guess it was a goodnight kiss

"See you tomorrow"he waved as I hauled into my car,started off the engine and zoomed off. I had watched him through the rearview mirror before I was outbid sight

I ended up in a traffic and I calculated I would surely get ho.e quite late as it is I already spent half on hour on the road and I wasn't even halfway down to my house. I decided to take a reverse back to Aaron's house,he should be able to understand my situation after all he lived alone, he'll definitely usher me in

I got in front of Aaron's house at exactly 10pm and I went to the perch,knocked on the door and to my surprise it was an old lady

"What are you doing walking in the middle of the night miss?"she said lethargically

"Um......aaron.......I'm here to see aaron"I stammmered

"No one named aaron stays here,only my son and I"

"May I see your son?

"Joe"she called out and a boy of ten years old stepped out

"Oh I'm sorry for the confusion,i must have missed my way"I said ogling at the young boy who seemed dumb to me

"Aiit miss,goodnight"she said and slammed the door shut

I stood on the porch still wondering how this couldn't be the house I was in just two hours ago. I was so sure I didn't miss my way, this is Aaron's house or should I say where he called his house. I got really pissed that I couldn't even think of talking about this through the phone with him so I had no option than to go to my house.
