[Hermione]
Three weeks have passed since the war. Nearly everyone is back to normal, except George. He dyed his hair in a strange colour. Although, when Mrs. Weasley asked him why he did so, he did not answer but we all heard him mutter that he kept thinking it was him (Fred). I hope he will get over him.
So, today I and Ron decided to spend some time alone. We were walking in the garden. Silence envolped us, but it wasn't a cold one. We were just holding hands and wallking, lost in our own world. I lost track about where we were going and soon we found ourselves in Mr Weasley's Muggle shed where he keeps Muggle accessories. I knew Ron didn't recognize any of the things that were kept there. He asked me.
"What are these things?" I chuckled.
"Well Ronald, this is a microwave which is used for cooking. And these are matchsticks which are used to light fires. This is a remote...."
I knew Ron could not understand anything that I was saying but he didn't mention this. He likes it when I am trying to teach him something, or so he says. But I continued reminiscencing anyway because I thought it was good to remember about old times when I lived like a muggle with my parents-
My parents.
I stopped dead in my tracks.
In the rush of everything I forgot about modifying their memory and that I don't even exist for them anymore.
"And this is a..."
I trailed off. I tried hard not to cry but I could not hold my tears for long and I was about to fall down when Ron grabbed me.
"Mione, what happened? Why are you crying?"
"Ron my... my parents."
I stammered while sobbing. He looked worried, to say the least.
"What happened to them?"
"I-they... ahhh nothing"
I said quickly standing up and wiping my tears away. I don't want him to see me crying. I turned around to go but he stopped me, looked me in the eye and pulled me into a hug. He rubbed my back soothingly.
"You know you can tell me."
"I..." I contemplated whether or not to tell him. But, then I realised that I expect him to be honest with me then I should do the same. He smiled at me, reassuring me that I can tell him.
"Seeing these muggle stuff reminded me that I have modified their memories and they won't remeber me now."
I was about to cry again when he put his hand on my face and tenderly brushed his lips against. When Ron's soft lips kissed me, suddenly it felt as if the world around me didn't exist anymore. All my worries and problems were dissolving and I started kissing him back. And before I knew it Ron had lifted me off ground. It was the most awsome feeling. Then we broke apart and I was grinning like an idiot.
" You know?"
"You know what?"
"I can't stand you crying."
I smiled at him.
"And if I am the reason you are smiling, then its even better. I could spend my whole life trying to make you laugh."
"Really?" I questioned, grinning.
"Really," he said, grinning back.
