[Hermione]

I am leaving for Hogwarts next week. I can't even start to describe my emotions. Me and Ron would have to stay away from each other for a whole year. Not that we won't be seeing each other at all but, still we would have to go on our separate ways. I would miss him so much. We have been spending most of the time left together. So, before going to Hogwarts, we're going on a last double date with Ginny and Harry.

"What are you wearing?" Ginny asked.

"Not yet decided," she shot me a devilish grin.

"C'mon, get up, we're going shopping," I just groaned in response.

Some Time Later

"So where are we going?"

"Not yet, Mione, not yet."

Apparently, Harry and Ron had blindfolded me and Ginny. And they were not telling us where we were going.

After, what seemed like hours, they removed the blindfolds. What I could see was that they had set up a small picnic under the stars on the hill near the Burrow.

Okay, they exceeded my expectations.

"Wow. Like wow. Real wow. This is a-mazing."

Ron grinned cheekily.

"You like it?"

I blinked.

"Like it? I absolutely love it!"

He grinned.

"Glad that my efforts did not go wasted."

When we turned around, Ginny and Harry were not there. Hmmm... unexpected. I shared a silent look with Ron, and he confirmed my suspicions that he is unaware of it.

"Do you want to go for a walk?"

Ron always knows what I have on my mind.

"Sure."

We were walking, hand in hand, silently. Unlike with others, I had a comfortable silence with Ron. After our little walk, we went and sat down and ate the sandwhiches which Ron claimed to have made himself.

"Don't try to lie, Ron."

"I'm not lying!" He exclaimed.

"Yes you are, I am sure Mrs. Weasley made these."

"No."

"You're lying," I said in a sing-song voice.

"No, I am not lying."

"You are."

"No."

"You are."

"No."

"Ron..."

"How can you be so sure?" He questioned

"Your eyes are wide. You are repeating yourself again and again with the exact same words. You are reluctant and your fists are clenched. Something you do when you lie. This, makes me sure, that you're lying. Besides, Mrs. Weasley's food has unique taste."

"Well yes it has, and when you put it that way, then yes, you can be sure."

"See, I knew it," I pointed ut

"You know me so well," he said smilinh.

"I do" I said smirking.

Then all of a sudden Ron kissed me.

"Your face was looking so smug and cute while  smirking, I couldn't resist the temptation to kiss you."

"Not that I mind," I said grinning.

"Mione?"

He turned serious quite suddenly.

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I know."
