[Hermione]
I had finally been able to track my parents' location. Me and Ron arranged a portkey to go to Australia. We are leaving tommorow. I feel very nervous. I hope we find them. Me and Ron were packing. I was very quite these days, which was very unusual itself, but given what was happening, I didn't even feel like talking much.
"Mione?" Ron asked.
"Yes?"
"How are you feeling?"
I sighed.
"Well I am worried Ron. I don't know if we will find them, and I don't feel fine leaving everyone behind here either."
"Oh Hermione."
And pulled me into a hug, for which, I was quiet glad.
"Everything will be fine Hermione, things will improve. You have been very brave, just for a few more days, have courage," he said rubbing my back soothingly.
"Not without you, Ron, not without you."
He kissed my forehead.
"I am here for you."
Next Day
We were standing front of their house. This is it. I can't back off now. I have to do it. I cannot run away from this for my whole life. Running away or avoiding the problem isn't a solution. They will forgive you. It was for their safety. Everything will be alright. They will recognize you, after the spell is done. Be strong Hermione, be strong.
"So, are you okay?"
"What kind of question is that?" I snapped, I know I am being uneccessarily rude, he is just worried about me. But its not like I have much control over my emotions.
"No. Not at all. I am terrified."
"Relax Hermione, everything will be alright. They'll forgive you."
"How can you tell me to relax in a situation like this?"
What's happening to me?
"I... oh leave it. Let's not fight over this. We have more pressing and important matters to deal with. Right?"
I cleared my throat, realising he is right.
"Right."
We went ahead and rung the bell. One, two, three. The door opened. Mum was standing there.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" She said. Her voice was exactly the same. She talked in the same polite and respectful manner. Her face hadn't change a bit. Her hair, like old times was neat.
"Who's there, dear?"
Dad. I could see him shuffling in the background. This is it. This was my breaking point. I couldn't bear it anymore. I broke down
Three Days Later
[Ron]
I was back at the Burrow now. Finally everything was at its right place.
"So, what happend?" Harry asked me.
"Everything went well. We found the Grangers and revived their memory. Hermione was too emotional to do it, so I did the spell for her."
"And you were successful?" Ginny asked in a mocking manner.
"Ginny, after all the things we went through, you think I can't do that?" I was offended.
"Oh yes. Right. Sorry," She said this mockingly again. I don't know what's so funny about it.
"Hermione stayed back to spend time with them, I wanted to stay too, but she insisted me to go. So, I came back."
I am not at all happy with this chapter, it was more of a filler actually. I tried a lot but I couldn't improve it, and it was important to the story. So, sorry this time. But I promise the coming chapters are gonna be good.
