Rape

WARNING: I am and angry ANGRY boi and I start to rant off a bit. I explain a bit more after my first rant

Rape is rape. Pls don't write things and claim it not to be rape when a character has said no and they end up fucking anyway. Don't pull some shit like 'but you don't know all of the story! They consent and say it's ok later!' Or 'they consented the first time so it's valid every time they have sex in the story!'. No.
NO. You can write about rape. But don't sit around saying that it's not. It is still rape. Most of you who excuse rape on here in stories are 11 year olds acting like immature 9 year olds and still, somehow, think they have the RIGHT to claim what rape is and isn't. SOMEHOW, some of you think you are aloud to tell people who have been triggered from a chapter depicting rape because they were raped to 'get over it' and still walk the earth thinking you are not a price of shit under a shoe. This is a serious problem on wattpad and I have found sooooo many of you that I love, but so many that come on her thinking they can say things like 'get over it' when someone is triggered from rape, cutting, depression, suicide, and abuse because you couldn't just put a trigger warning on it. They are reliving/ thinking about one of the worst experiences of their lives because of you and you have the audacity to tell them to fuck off or get over it.

Ok I'm done ranting angrily. I'm sorry I love all of you, but there are some people on here who don't understand things like this and refuse to try to, and it annoys the living hell outta me.

What set me off: a random Gumlee smut by an author I (fortunately) don't know. I don't wanna shout them out, so I'm not gonna say who they are. They were talking about how their inbox was full of ppl telling them that their smut story was rape and I read through it and yeah, that shit was rape, gumball said no to marshal multiple times, and then marshal pushed and pressured him into sex, and that is rape. LEARN THIS PHRASE WELL MY CHILDREN: no means no, not convince me.

But yeah, I got VERY angry and the way they were talking let me know that they would never listen so I didn't bother to comment, I just left. It was aggravating and sad. I'm really disappointed and I don't even know why.the fandoms on Wattpad consist of kind, compassionate, weird, and funny as fuck people. But there are some that baffle me beyond belief.

But anyway, yeah, that's a bit of a pet peeve for me. Just a little. Love you guys, have a great day and above all there is the sky.
