The Truth

"Its nice to finally see you again, Jae Eun." The guy smiled.

I couldnt believe it...!

NINE?

Why are they here?! They're real?! And....I thought it was just a dream!

"Jae Eun, am I correct? Still remember us?" Four smirked, slipping up his hand over to Zero's shoulder but he was just too short.

"H-How? You guys...You guys are real?!" As I mentioned this, the guys snickered as if I didnt know something.

It was only the three of them. Nine, Zero and Four. The same people I met in that dream. The dream that I only thought was a fantasy.

"Can we come in? I'll explain everything" Nine says, taking off his shades.

I nodded, opening the door for them to come in. We all sat down and all I did was stare at them for long minutes as if it was still a dream.

"Jae Eun. You probably know us from the dreams you have. But I tell you, everything you saw in those dreams are actually real" Nine starts.

"P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M. , PHASe, and Olympia. They're all real to be exact....just not in this world." Nine states.

"It may be too much to handle for you, I mean, you are  from this dreamscape." Zero smiles at me sweetly.

Oh how i missed this boy..

"What do you mean dreamscape exactly? Are you dreaming about this world of mine?" I questionably say, looking at Zero.

"Sort of like that? We have machines that export our mental and physical bodies to other worlds. P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M. could only let PHASe enter the portal machines to other worlds for missions and stuff" Zero tilts his head.

"What is Olympia like?" I ask.

The three of them smile, seemed excited for something.

"Olympia is nothing like you've ever seen! Bright lights, busy streets, families bonding, noisy people. Many beautiful trees and places." Nine grabs my hand, causing me to blush.

Zero looks bothered at Nine holding my hand, "Hyung. You're just making it awkward." He says, snickering.

Nine immediately let go of my hand and stuttered after his words muttering an apology.

"Jae Eun, do you have any more questions before we reveal why we are here?" Four sits back, folding his arms, kind of bored.

"Who are you guys specifically?" I look up and glance at everyone in the room, then fixing my gaze at Nine.

Nine sighs and semi-smiled at me.
"Our group is called Phantom Alpha, a group in PHASe to be exact. And PHASe is a group facilitated, controlled and funded by P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M. , a very big government in Olympia that protects everyone. Phantom Alpha is composed of members that have special abilities." He seriously stated.

"And I hate to break it to you, but you have proven us that you could be part of Phantom Alpha with your fighting skills.

You will be our new operative, Operative Seven.
Our 8th member." Four stands up, handing me a sci-fi looking device.

"Look, I dont think Im suited for this. And I dont even know how to fight at all! I know you saw me fight out there, but I thought I was an entire different person. I want to take that offer very much, but what if I dont reach your expectations. Phantom Alpha is supposed to be a very important unit in PHASe and what if I just disappoint you?" I mutter.

I wouldnt know what to do in those kind of situations.

"Then you'd have to prove it first." A voice said.
Zero stands and closes his pace up on me.

"Prove it again to me that you could do it. Right now. Lets fight, one on one. First one to let the opponent give up wins." He grins smugly, throwing up a high five infront of me.

I return the high five with a strong force.

"I'll do it. Lets go outside, one on one. No weapons." And with that, we were faced head on with each other. Fists up and serious faces.

"The spar begins in 1, 2, 3. FIGHT!" Nine raises up his hand in the air declaring the fight.

I sprang forward trying to look for a weak spot of Zero.

Shiz. His stance....uhm nothing. I cant find any. He's too good at hiding them.

As he took a punch towards my face, I immediately dodged it, jumping backward.

Zero looked at my feet then back at my face.

There! He's planning to hit my foot to lose my balance.

He thrust his foot towards my own. Smirking, I bent my knees and sprang, rising into the air. In a flash, I landed then crouched, hitting both his feet.

He tripped and fell, which gave me an opportunity to hit him. I sat on top of him, I aim a punch towards him, thrusting it near his face.

And yet this battle didnt even last a minute.

I could see him close his eyes for a split second declaring only one thing.

I won.

"Zero. Open your eyes. I wont hit you" I laughed, clutching my stomach out of laughter. I roll off of him, lying down on the grass.

Nine closed in, grabbed my hand smiling "I think Zero didnt do that on purpose, and that was terribly fast. You have proven yourself enough to earn a position in Phantom Alpha."

This...is it. A new chapter in my life. And I'll gladly accept it.

"I cant wait to begin."
