Jada's POV
"That's really cold." I say as Zion looks at me funny. The OBGYN doctor chuckles as she spreads the gel on my stomach around. I'm so glad that I wasn't showing yet so people wouldn't question me at all.
Zion told me that he was going to schedule an appointment, but I didn't think he actually would or that it would be the day after! Actually, I didn't think that he would take this serious at all.
"Well there's definitely a baby in here Miss.Roberts and Mr.Kuwonu." The doctor smiles brightly. "I'm sure you already know this, but refrain from eating Deli meats, uncooked/undercooked meats, seafood, etc. and you sir, you're going to make sure she isn't stressed." The doctor says pointing to Zion.
"You're only about 4 weeks pregnant so I can't for sure tell you the gender of the baby. I'd like to see you back in about 2-3 weeks for another check up." She smiles clapping her hands together and walks out of the door right after she wipes the gel off of my stomach.
"Hey, you ok?" Zion comes to my side, grabbing my head and leading me out of the giant building and to his car.
"Yea I'm fine." I sit down in the car after he opens the door for me.
"J, if you're stressing just tell me. It's my job to make sure that you're calm and relaxed, ok? You know that right?" Zion starts up the car and backs out. Once he was on the road, he grabs my hand that was placed in my lap, intertwining it.
"We're in this together J, I promise you."
