I want more then just to live, help, die, forget, and repeat. I want to live an actual life.

Not this one.

Entry One.

I-I've been told to tell my backstory. What I am, why I'm here, and why I decided to break the natural order all Guardians must follow. It's not my fault that I wanted something more then just to live, help, die, and forget. Then it repeats. It's horrible.

They don't like others questioning their assignments and past. I find that idiotic bull shit. Hopefully nothing too harsh will become of me.

Farewell for now, Zaini

"Class, I'd like you to welcome a new student." The teacher chattered excited, "This is... I'm sorry what's your name?"

The new girl sighed, "It's Ladia. L-A-D-I-A. Ladia." It was the third time that day someone asked her what her name was because they didn't know how to pronounce it.

"Oh! How... Interesting. Go sit by..."

Ladia closed her eyes, focused for a moment, and whispered "Peter."

"Peter!" The teacher finished, pointing to a seat near the back where a pale gothic kid sat. Ladia nodded her head and sat down next to the kid. Right when she was about to say something the fire alarm went off.

Everyone quickly filed out of the room. Ladia stopped Peter.

" The fire alarm is going off." He told her plainly, "That means you go outside instead of staying inside and being burned to a crisp." He started to push past her but she grabbed his hoody and spun him around.

"Look. You need to listen to me for one second. Can you do that?" She asked, not letting go of his hoody.

"You are crazy as fuck. You want to talk when there is a fire just down the hall from here."

"I don't appreciate your language." She still didn't let go

"And I don't appreciate you holding onto my hoody." He mocked her

She turned and started walking toward the exit when halfway to, she turned back around and punched him in the face. Hard.

"What the hell?!" Peter yelled

"Will you listen now?" She yelled as glass exploded behind her, "I have something important to say that concerns your well being."

"Why can't you just tell me this later!?"

The ceiling started to fall, it's fire-covered beams threatening to crush the two.

Peter braced for impact and Ladia stood up tall.

"Idiot." Peter whispered as the ceiling finally gave way. Peter closed his eyes.

The ceiling stopped failing.

Peter looked up. It was frozen.

"What the legit f...?" Peter looked at Ladia who just shrugged.

"Ready to listen?"

"What the hell are you..?!"
