The portal was only 20 feet away, Zaini practically sprinted the distance. All she kept thinking was 'if I make it... I am free.'
She heard something behind her and saw several Guardians come running. But what was behind them scared the living hell out of her. She almost stopped in her tracks. But she remembered she had to keep running.
Fęro smiled wickedly at the notion of Zaini recognizing him. Who didn't? He was the Guardians fear, but without him they wouldn't know their place. They'd think that they are superior to all. Which was far from true.
Fęro made a leap and grab type of move to try and grab Zaini. All the while, she kept slipping and almost falling due to the floors, her shoes, and the new-found lack of gravity near the portal.
She gave up trying to run but instead used the slippery floors to slide down toward the portal.
Fęro reached out to grab her but, he was too late.
In a flash she was back with Peter.
Fęro smacked his fist on the ground, "Idiots!"
"Sir?"
"What?!"
"She took the Moon Stone."
Fęro looked at Trekos darkly, "I want her back alive. Or else it could be your mother this time. Maybe your best friend?"
Horror flashed onto Trekos's face, "Yes, Fęro."
"Good."
