Super Sister

Chapter 12

All of the beds were bolted to the ground so Nova and Kara used their super strength to pull out the bolts and release the beds. While they did that, Alex wrote out a list of things they wanted from home. They heard a knock on the door. Alex jumped up and opened it just enough so that her head could fit through. It was Eliza.

"What are you girls doing in there?" Eliza asked.

"Nothing. What's up?" Alex asked.

"Did you make the list?" Eliza asked. Alex nodded and handed her the paper. "Thanks"

"Okay bye" Alex closed the door. They got back to work.

They slid the beds aside and made a big open space in the middle of the room. They took some of the beds and took off all the sheets and blankets and made a pile of them. With the frames they made a square, they stacked them up to make it higher. Kara used her heat vision to melt the peices together so they wouldn't fall. They used the sheets from a bunch of beds and threw them on top of the frame, forming a fort.

They took the mattreses from the beds and put them inside the fort, along with blankets and pillows. They took the lamps and set them up in the fort. The three girls marvelled over their creation. Kara turned off the lights. Nova and Alex crawled into their fort and set up the beds. While Kara put some pillows in the window to block out the light.

When Kara finished she joined Alex and Nova in the fort. "Wow" Nova said in awe.

They layed down in the fort and talked for over a hour. They heard a knock on the door and Kara ran out and poked her head out. Eliza was holding a duffel bag. "Thanks Eliza" Kara said and closed the door. Kara crawled back into the fort and they unpacked the bag.

Kara pulled out a set of pyjamas for each of them, they all changed then Kara continued to unpack the bag. She pulled out Nova's Harry Potter book and gave it to her, she then pulled out her laptop. They set up the laptop and binge watched some TV shows.

A few hours later Kara and Alex dosed off, Nova lay in between them. She smiled, she felt like she was home. She felt warm and fuzzy inside, Kara and Alex were so nice to her. They gave her a home and a family. Nova closed her eyes and fell asleep, squished in between her two sisters.

Kara sat bolt upright, she was sweating and shivering. She had just had the worst dream of her life, because in her dream, Mon-el died. Kara started to cry quietly. She lay back down and curled up. After a few moments Kara stopped crying, she pulled out her phone and pulled up the photo of Mon-el at the football game. She smiled. Suddenly, a noise came from out is the hall. It sounded like a grunt.

Kara got out of the fort and walked to the door slowly. She opened it and looked out into the hall, nothing. She walked down the hallway and out to the main room with all the computers and TV's. Mon-el was stunbling towards her. Kara ran over as fast as she could and wrapped her arm around Mon-el to support him. "What are you doing?" She scolded.

"I had to see you," Mon-el said, "I was so lonely." Kara looked him in the eyes, he was on the verge of tears.
