KENNEDY'S POV
"Thanks Tony" i say to my uncle helping me move the last of my boxes into the van. Today is the day, i'm moving back to Emmerdale, it's been 7 years since i've stepped foot in that town. 7 years since i've seen my parents. 7 years since i've seen my sister. A lot has happened in my past, stuff i'd much rather leave in past. My past is reason my parents sent me away.
*flashback* (age 12)
"KENNEDY NICOLE DINGLE" I hear mum screaming my name. Again.
"What?" i reply blandly, knowing exactly what she was going to say.
"I can't cope with this behaviour for any longer! I gave you three chances to change your ways, and you've used four! ive contacted your uncle in London. You will be staying with him for a while. Pack your things. He'll be here to fetch you tomorrow first thing" Charity says while clearly holding back tears. My face drops as i watch her turn her back and walk out of our living room. I stay frozen on the same spot for what felt like 15 minutes.
As i reach my room and close my door, i fall to the ground all ball my eyes out. Thinking to myself, 'You knew if all this carried on, this would happen, but i couldn't tell her the truth. not yet. There was too much at stake.'
*End Of Flashback*
I feel chills go all over my body thinking back to what happened. I still hadn't told anyone the truth yet. I stare out the window and plug my earphones in, watching all the scenery as we drive past, getting more and more nervous the closer we get.
*a few hours later*
The car travels down a muddy and bumpy path as we finally come to a stop in the town. I take some deep breaths as i grab my bag from the seat next to me, and open the door to my uncles black BMW, and step out while swinging my bag onto my shoulders.
"To a new beginning" I say as i head toward the home i once lived in.
