THIRD PERSON POV
Kennedy leaned against the front door outside Home Farm. Wanting to go back in, and just give Joe the biggest hug, but he needed to learn, he can't keep being like this. He has to change before I even think about being with him again. I don't understand how he could do that to Liv.
She pushed herself off the wall, heading back to the town. After a fairly quick walk to the pub, considering she sped walked scared Joe would catch up with her if he left, she opened the door and walked in. Kennedy was hoping to not have a run in with Aaron and or Rob. She did not have a clue of what she was going to tell them.
KENNEDY'S POV
I ordered a drink at the bar, handed the tall guy the money and sat alone at a table. My head leaning on one of my hands while the other was moving the straw, in my drink, in circles. I actually enjoyed having some time to myself, gave me time to think.
-A few hours later-
"What are you doing" i hear a voice say to me, i stay looking at what must've been my eighth drink.
"Thinking" i reply. I look at Debbie for a second then my gaze returns to my drink.
"I heard what happened with Liv. I can not believe they sent her down" she shook her head in disappointment "I also bumped into Aaron, he is convinced Joe had something to do with it, they last minute lawye-"
"No. He didn't" i interrupt her before she could finish. lying through my teeth, which according to her facial expression, she could tell.
"Ken, don't protect him. " She stats. I stare at her for a while, before averting my gaze to the floor.
"I told him I wanted nothing to do with him until he's changed" I say a lot quieter. "I cant believe he'd do that. I can't let Aaron know" I shake my head a little avoiding eye contact.
"I understand, but it's his fault Liv has got sent down" she shrugged, clearly getting annoyed.
"I know. I'm just wo-" I freeze as my eyes go to the door. Where Joe stands, his eyes are a bloodshot red colour, his hair is a mess also. He heads straight to the bar, I'm unable to hear what he is saying but he had beer after beer. I was getting quite concerned.
"Shall I go over?" I ask Debbie, she can tell I'm worried.
"No" she shakes her head "head back to mine, get some rest. And I'll talk to him" she hands me a house key as she heads over toward Joe. I stood and stared for a few seconds, it broke my heart to see him like this. But it also broke my heart that it's his fault Liv was in a detention centre.
I quickly walk out the front door to the pub, I plug my earphones in as I start heading back to Debbie's, keeping my hood up, still not wanting to run into Aaron. As I reached Debbie's, I fiddled with the key in the lock until I managed to open the door. I throw my bag on the stairs as I collapse on the sofa. Pictures of Joe clouding my mind, his eyes bloodshot, like he'd been crying for ages. I was worried he was over at the pub and he'd drink himself to death.
"Why am I even here? I should be with him" I say aloud to myself. My thoughts were interrupted by sudden banging on the front door, before I could even think about not answering, my hands already had swung the door open, gulping as I look in front of me.
"So?" Aaron said barging past me sitting on the sofa placing his leg across his lap looking at my back.
I stay frozen in my spot staring outside. When I had gathered myself, I shut the door and sat on the other sofa, staying silent as I still hadn't decided what I wanted to say.
