KENNEDY'S POV
It had been a good hour or two, I lost track, since Debbie left. I had just been sat at a table having a few drink with Joe. I don't think he is as bad as people make him out to be.
"NO WAY!!" I laughed loudly at what Joe previously said, tears escaping my eyes.
"I know! It was mad" He laughed.
I smiled through laughter at him looking into his eyes. He smiled back at me reaching his hand across the table towards mine.
"Kennedy!?" I pulled my hand away and bit the inside of lip as i turned to face Debbie who held a sad, angry and confused look upon her face
"Hi Debs" i smiled sweetly, as she just glared at me while grabbing my arm pulling me outside of the pub.
"I told you to stay away from him!!" She spoke loudly, nearly shouting.
"I know, but he seems like a nice guy?" i shifted looking at the ground kicking some of the loose stones around with my shoe.
"He's not. Why can't you listen to someone for once in your life!! You don't want to get involved with him" She said sternly.
I scoffed "Lay off Debbie, I'm not a child anymore, you can't tell me what i can or can't do" I shook my head
"I'm just looking out for you"
"You're looking out for yourself" I said walking back into the pub and towards where i was just sat. I pick my jacket up off the seat sliding it over my shoulders.
"I have to go, but i had a lot of fun. I'm sure i'll see you around" I said smiling.
"Of course" he said smirking, handing me a small card "In case you need anything" He stands up taking my hand and raising it up to his lips.
I go bright red and look at the floor as he exits the pub. I look down at the small card in my hand which has Joe's number and his home address. I smile widely placing it inside my coat pocket and I walk out of the pub and head 'home' to see my mum.
I was stood at the door again. I shook my head trying to get rid of the thoughts that were telling me 'that this was a bad idea. I shouldn't have come back. Mum won't be happy to see me.' I rolled my eyes at those thoughts and raised my fist knocking on the door. 'No turning back now' I thought as I was waiting anxiously at the door.
The door then swung open and my mother was stood behind. Her mouth drops to the ground, her eyebrows beginning to frown.
"Kennedy?" She spat slightly"H-hi mum" I gave a sad smile
She shook her head lightly. "What the hell are you doing back here"
I looked at her shocked "I've changed, you told me I could come back once I've changed"
Charity looked at the ground "A lot has changed since you've been away. I don't think it's a good idea for you to be here"
"Here at home? Or in town?" I question, not wanting to know the answer.
"I cannot be the one to tell you you can't be in town" she looks away from me as she finishes "but for now I can't have you in my house"
I looked at the ground, my eyes watering. I nodded quickly turning around, hearing the door closing behind me. I swing my backpack back over my shoulders as I head to the forest to clear my head a bit.
*an hour later*
Sat by the water, I hear sounds coming from the sky. I look up to see grey clouds covering the almost dark sky. I feel droplets Of water hitting my face before rain comes hammering down.
