)let me just point out varian never had friends so he doesn't really understand how stuff works??)

Dawn crept over the horizon. The wind blew violently as birds screeched in fear. A heavy storm washed over the land and flooded the soil. Varian yawned and leaned forward in his bed. He rubbed his eyes and heaved himself out of bed. He padded down the hallway to the kitchen where he found his dad already there. He stood, staring outside the window. Varian yawned again and raised an eyebrow, "watcha looking at?" Quirin heaved heavily and moved away, "nothing." Varian shrugged and began heading towards the basement when quirin grabbed his shoulder, "and hey, what happened to that friend of yours?" Varian shifted his body and avoided eye contact, "oh her? She uh... we're not friends anymore.." Quirin looked at varian curiously, "why not? She was a sweet gir-" varian cut him off and shoved quirin off his shoulder, "she was getting to close to me! She acted like my mom, constantly trying to help and look after me. Compliment me, everything!" Quirin stared at his son miserably, "that's how friends are varian...they care." Varian began walking into his lab while rolling his eyes, "if friends are mothers that are my age, I think I'll pass." He slammed the door. Quirin sighed and held his head. His son was out of his mind.

(Y/n) coughed and shivered. She felt pellets of rain drip onto her bare skin as she sat with her knees tucked under her face. She had nowhere to go. She was used to having to sit out in the rain, but didn't enjoy it. She thought about varian. He had just pushed her away like an old toy he was sick of after playing with after a few times. She sighed and felt hot tears erupting. She didn't enjoy being alone. Not after that. Shaking her head, she looked up at the dark clouds that hung overhead. They whispered to her lightly and continued to pour water down below. Standing up, (y/n) began shaking before falling to her knees. She was too weak to walk. Sighing, she attempted to stand again, using the support from a nearby tree. Wheezing, she blinked tears and rain drops out of her eyes and tried to make out any nearby buildings. She laughed to herself, "well dang, things are looking pretty grim, huh (y/n)? Maybe pretty soon I'll be laughing about it..." (y/n) kept dragging herself on, her legs growing weaker and weaker by the second. They left a bloody trail behind her as she tried to keep moving. Suddenly, darkness overwhelmed her vision has she tripped and fell onto her face.

Horse hooves pounded against the soft dirt as the rain poured; a dark hooded figure riding it. The figure yanked the horse back as it spotted something laying on the ground; a body. The figure kept from the horse and held it up. It was a girl. She mounted herself and the girl and kicked her horse gently, racing across the rain once more.
