I didn't know what had gotten into Novian.  One minute he was fine and listening, the next he cussing out Angel.  It took me by a storm with how fast he blew up.

I was tempted to follow him up and yell at him for treating my company like that, but Mama convinced me to stay.  Yeah, I wasn't really pleased with Angel at the moment, but he didn't deserve whatever the hell that was.

"Thank you, Mama," I told her for her kind gesture of letting Angel, Ais, Lil and Gabe have dinner and even sleepover.

"No problem. I'll get dinner started and your father will take you and the guests upstairs. We put your name on your door," she smiled kindly at my friends who finally felt comfortable. I could tell they were all tense especially since we were retelling what we went through, and I barely knew half the shit.

I nodded okay, and everyone got up to go upstairs while following my father. He spoke to the police department about how I'm now found and they said we need to have a conversation to file papers out and put this 5-year case to an end.

"We have one guest room. So that means the girls have to sleep with Via, and you guys can sleep in the guest room. Or vice verse, which ever you want," my father tried to smile, but I could tell he was uncomfortable. He kept giving my friends odd faces and I knew he watched us all under a microscope. Especially me and Angel.

Okay, maybe saying that Angel was my boyfriend probably has my parents shook to the core. But they needed to stop yelling at him and judging him. I felt like I almost made it worse, but Angel was like my boyfriend. He... he wasn't my friend because friends don't talk and then suck each other's lips off. Because if they do, I want that friendship.

"Thank you, Papa," I grinned softly. He returned it and have me a side hug. I also got a quick kiss on my forehead.

"Welcome home, baby. We missed you so much. Now I'll leave you be so you can freshen up," he said before reporting back downstairs leaving me with my friends.

Aislin looked happy as she smiled at me before squealing and pulling me into a hug.  I hugged her back reciprocating her emotions.

"We did it! We got you home!" she squealed.  I nodded.

"I honestly don't know how to thank all of you. We need to figure something out because this can't be the end," I looked at Lil who had mentioned earlier that they're going to have to go back.  I understood.  They had school, and they still had their family back home.

"Who the hell said it was the end? No, I'm going to visit you like three times a month," Lil gleamed.  I went over and gave her a hug.

"Yeah, don't kick us out yet," Gabe chimmed in.   I looked amusingly at him and then realized how close he was to Lil.  A teasing smile appeared on my face.  He gently moved over, his face turning beet red.  God, I hoped they worked things out.

Angel didn't say anything as he was rather quiet.  I was wondering if everything was okay with him.  He sounded absolutely pissed over the phone, and I didn't know why.  I hadn't brought up what happened because I wanted to get through tonight.  Afterwards, he and I would talk.

"Okayyyy," Aislin sang shifting from foot to foot. "Shall we go into your room or naw?"

I rolled my eyes while biting back a smile.
