ANGEL

Three hours.  They've been gone for three fúcking hours and I was about to lose all my shit.

"Stop pacing, dude," Gabe gave me a bored expression.  I gave him a confused look.

"They've been gone for like a thousand light years," I said slowly, my eyebrows curved in question. "Why would I be calm? In fact, why are you calm?"

He shrugged. "They're girls. They do what they do. They'll be back."

"Yeah, I don't think that way," I growled softly before grabbing my phone and calling Aislin again for the millionth time.   Just like the first millionth times, it went to voicemail.  I left another half assed message before hanging up.  I flopped on the hotel bed trying not to lose my head.

Gabe and I had returned to the hotel after the girls left us without any clue about where they were going.  Aislin was pissed off like a fúcking gorilla that got their banana taken away and I didn't even have a fraction of why she was so pissed.

"I don't know how you're so chilled," I muttered eyeing Gabe, who was on his phone with a nonchalant attitude.

"I learned the hard way to stay away from girl's business. Prying only gets you kicked in the balls," he snickered. Then his eyes shifted to me before rolling like a bowling ball.

"Calm down. They probably forgot about us wherever they are, having fun. They'll be back. Thirty minutes. Give them that."

I nodded okay.

"Thirty minutes."

*·*·*·*·*·*·*·*
Nope.

No knock on the door.  No call.  Thirty minutes and no whisper of the girls' previous laughters.

"Fùck this," I growled picking up my phone and tracking down Aislin's phone to figure out their location.

"What's got you so uptight?" Gabe stood up too, a glare on his face.

I scoffed. "I don't know why you're not freaked out, but I don't care.  My girlfriend and sister are out there!"

Gabe laughed bitterly. "She's not your girlfriend so you can shut down whatever primal instinct you have on her.  She's just a kidnapped girl you saved with my help from your parents evil clutches."

I pushed Gabe out my way, outraged with his words.

"She might not officially be my girlfriend, but she's mine! And my sister is out there with your ex-girlfriend.  For all we know they could be dead and you don't give a rat's ass about it."

"They're not dead.  Stop being a drama queen," Gabe curled his lips in disgust.

"What proof do we have of that?  Huh?" I towered over him with so much anger rolling through me like a storm.

"Back the fúck away from me man," he shoved me. "You're whipped for nothing. Odds are, Aviana probably isn't even interested in your ass after everything your family has done to her."

Oh shit.  I saw red.  It took everything in my power to not knock him down to the floor.  I was livid.

"Clear your head, Gabe.  Clear it," my teeth groaned together as I tried not bite his head off. "Whatever's got your balls deflated, you need to figure it out and not dump it on me.  If not, don't talk to me!"
