Chapter 37: Malia's dead.

We drove all night to try and find a scent. But the rain made it hard for Liam and Malia to find Theo Isaac and my dad. My phone rang indicating that my dad is calling

Allison. Go home. We lost her. We'll try later on or maybe tomorrow. But we won't stop until we found her.
Dad she killed Scott. He wasn't completely gone, Malia called us to ask if Liam can come over to take his power.
What does that mean?
Liam's the Alpha now.

I hung up. We drove back home and sat on my bed.
" I can't do this. I stand against murder."
"Sometimes you need to be a little dark to avenge what was taken from you."
"I don't want to loose you. Because my dark is crazy scary."
"Liam. Your light side is easy to love. Show me your dark side. And I promise, I will still love you as much as I always do."
"You love me?"
"Yeah... Yeah I love you. Alot."
"I love you to Al. I just can't stand the thought of you not being in my life and not being here to stand by me."
"Hey... I'm here. And I'm not going anywhere."
I lean closer, give him a kiss on the cheek. I then put my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me, kissing my forehead. After a while I feel him leaning backwards.
Now he's laying on his back and I'm resting my head on his chest. I closed my eyes listening to his heartbeat. Without me knowing I fell asleep.

*Liam's POV:*

I am totally heartbroken. I lost my best friend. And my brother. I am laying here holding Allison, listening to her heartbeat. She's so calm. I love that about her, because no matter how bad things get she always find a way to stay calm. I'm starimg at the ceiling trying to forget about today. But it's just so hard. I can't ,I keep thinking... I'm the Alpha now. Will Scott's pack be my pack? Or will I become an Omega ?
I hear Allison's phone going off, seeing Malia sent her a message.
It reads:

Hey you. How are you holding up?
I know I'm completely rattled.
And I'm scared to death.
I'm all alone, my adoptive dad's dead, my mom tried to kill me and I killed her, my adoptive mother and sister's dead.
So that only leaves me.
I don't know what's going to happen next. Will Liam be a good Alpha?
Will he stand by us like Scott did?
Or will all of us end up like him? Somewhere in a freezer...
Allison...
I can't imagine how you should feel right now, blaming yourself and all that, I just want you to know, you shouldn't blame yourself.
Scott wanted to keep you safe, just like he wanted to keep Stiles safe.
I mean come on, having two humans in our pack was kind of horrifying.
Not knowing what to expect.
But anyway, he felt responsible for you.
He just wanted the best for you, Stiles and all of us.
Try to take that in.
We all made our sacrafices, and by that I mean, when we promised to not only ourselves, but to Scott aswell ,that we would always look out for each other and keep each other safe.
That was excatly what Scott was doing. Saving our asses.
And remember, we might have lost Scott... But we still have each other.

I don't know how to respond to that I mean, come on I can surely lead this pack without letting anyone get hurt or killed. They should have a little faith in me.
I wonder what everyone's doing right now... Probably sleeping, which is something I should do, I just can't, when I close my eyes I see Scott.
I wanted to forget it ever happend.

I was just about to fall asleep when Allison's phone rang. She didn't hear it so I just answered.

Yeah?
Liam?
Yeah?
It's Lydia. Where's Allison?
She's asleep. What's up
Something bad. I just saw one of our pack members dying. I don't know who but I just saw it.
Do you want me to help you? I mean like figure it out?
No I just wanted to give you a heads up. Just in case.
Sure. Call if you need help.
Yeah well, you're the new Alpha so I'll be calling you first when anything happens.
I know. But still just... Any time oky?
Yeah sure. Bye.

The night went by slowly. I'm fighting aeay my thoughts trying to sleep. But it almost seemd impossible. Allison was still sleeping. I looked at her laying in my arms
"So beautiful."
I whisper while giving her a hug. She's the only thing that's right in my life. I get why no one has faith in me. I don't have faith in me either. I just want this night to end. And suddenly asif the universelistened. Stiles came bursting through the front door making me run down the stairs.
"What's going on?"
"It's Malia. She called me but when I got there Victoria was already gone and Malia..."
"Where is she?"
"In my Jeep."
"Allison! Get up! We have trouble!"
I  called at her from down stairs. Then I ran to Stiles's Jeep. I helped him carry Malia into the house.
"No no no no. She healed!"
""What's so bad about that?"
"She was clawed. Victoria is immune to Wolfsbane. She had wokfsbane on her claws."
"Oh my god which means it's in her blood."
Suddenly Allison came down the stairs and when she saw Malia she was crying.
"No! What happend to her? Malia!"
"Uh yeah your mother happend to her."
"Stiles you can't blame this on her."
"I know. I don't. I blame it on Derek."
"Guys I'm fine help me up."
"No you're not Mal. You don't look good. Sit down."
"Uh guys... Is her mouth suppose to turn purple?"
"Oh my god she's not getting oxygine! It's spreading to her heart. Mal !"
"It's oky. Allison... Just look away." Malia says really out of breath.
"No! There must be something we can..."
"Allison. You're my best friend. And my sister."
"Mal! No!"
She looked at Stiles while she held his hand. And then she fell to the ground letting out a gasp. That was it. Malia died
We called the peramedics and the Sheriff. But instead Parrish came. He took our statements and left
"Are you oky Al?"
"No. I'm not. I just saw one of my best friends die. Another one actually!"
"Al... Don't blame yourself please!"
"Who else is to blame? You are all just trying to keep me safe."
"Don't do this to yourself Allison. Please."
"Stiles... I'm going to kill her. Alone if I have to. I don't want anyone else to get hurt."
