He does it. He looks at me.

"Now write the notations beneath." I say, looking at him. He does so.

"Wait, are you sure the last one is right?" I raise my eyebrows. He gives me a confused look and looks at his book.

I keep my hand on his upper thighs and give him an innocent look. "It's x4 and y4." He blinks at me again. He closes his eyes for a few seconds and opens them to continue.

I am feeling satisfied by his reaction. But, does that mean I am going to stop? Heck no.

"Now write the numbers in the ladder format." I say. He follows my instruction. "Draw the arrows to one side." I squeeze his thighs.

His eyes close and he bites his lips. He opens them and continues doing maths. His lips start turning reddish as a result of his biting.

"Don't hurt yourself while biting your lips." I say with a smirk, lowering my voice.

He immediately releases his lips from under his teeth. "Now, open the bracket and add up the multiples of the first set." I lean closer to him.

"Good, now put a minus sign and open the next bracket." I say, turning to look at his face which was quite close.

"Looks like it's my lucky day. There is no one in this section of the library." I whisper. "Divide the whole thing by two and solve it." I say in my normal voice.

Kai once again bites his lower lip. He does what I asked him to do. I look at the book as he solves the problem. He gets the right answer.

"Great work." I give him a genuine smile. A ghost of a smile plays on his lips. The bell rings.

"Looks like that's it for the day. Let's go! By the way, can you give me a ride home?" I look at him with an apologetic smile.

"Yeah. Let's go." He says in a deep voice.

We take our things and head to the parking lot. We get in and he starts driving.

"Kai? Why are you acting like this?" I ask him between the ride.

"I ... None of your business." He says and continues giving me the silent treatment.

When we reach my house, I get out. "You want to continue the lesson? I am free." I say, leaning down to look at him.

He thinks about it for a little time and nods. He gets out and I lead him to the house. I take him to my room and drag an extra chair for him to sit on.

We continue the lesson and I get lost in teaching him the different things. After we finish the chapter, I remove my coat and place it in my closet.

"I'll get going then." Kai says. He gets up and packs his things.

I walk to him and grab his wrist as he starts to head out. "Do you really want to go?" I ask with a smirk.

He nods. "Thanks for your help." He tries to slide his wrist out of my grip.

"Okay then. Looks like someone is in a bad mood." I say. I grab his tie and pull it so that he bends down to my height. "I know what can fix that."

He raises his eyebrows. "Ice cream." I smile at him as I say and pull him along to the kitchen. Behind me I hear his cute chuckle. "Finally, some trace of the Kai I know."

I take the ice cream tub out of the fridge and grab two bowls. I put in the ice cream and slide it to Kai.

As we eat the ice cream in the kitchen, I ask him. "Do you really have to act so cold? Do you even like me?"

Kai was about to put a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth but abruptly stops.

"Y/N, I think I like you. But I feel like I might hurt you. That's why I don't want to get closer to you." He says putting down his spoon.

"But, what if you don't hurt me? What if we are better off with each other? I say, we give it a try. See what happens." I say finishing my ice cream and putting the bowl in the sink.

"I don't know about that." He says finishing his ice cream too.

"Well, I do." I say, walking towards him and placing my hands on either side of his hips on the kitchen counter and blocking him.

He looks at me and smirks. "You're really going to do this?" He bites his lower lip, looking at me up and down.

"Yes, I am." I smirk back and press my lips against his. My hands go around his neck and I raise my head to reach his height. His hands go around my waist and he turns, switching out positions.

Now, I was pressed against the counter and he was blocking me.

"Jump!" He says in a rough voice with a hint of authority in his voice.

I don't hesitate to do it and he holds me up while guiding my legs to go around his slim waist. Our bodies are only separated by our clothes.

He makes me sit on the counter and the cold tiles in contact with my skin send a shiver down my spine.

"You taste of ice cream." I say, smiling against his lips. He smirks against mine.

Woah! Woah! Are we going to get some real action? Sorry, not sorry for the cliffhanger fellas.
