Under the stars

We move apart quickly and the force causes Chanyeol to fall back on Baekhyun.

I look at my door to see Suho standing there, his face is puffed up and red.

"Aish! Chanyeol! You're heavy. Get off me!" Baekhyun shouts.

All four of us get off the bed. I start talking to Suho, "Oppa! I was about to fall down. Chanyeol oppa was just helping me. Don't get mad!"

"He didn't have to touch you for that." Suho says.

Is he stupid? Or did that sight just fuse his brain?

"What the heck are you saying? If he didn't grab me, I would have hurt myself. Don't be silly!" I say in an unbelieving voice.

Suho's bulb suddenly lights up. "That's true." He appears to be in deep thoughts.

"Obviously, Sherlock!" I say and cross my hands across my chest. Is he being serious?

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry. It's just that when I saw that, I didn't know how to react." He gives us a silly grin.

Told you, his duality is scary.

"But if I see you touching my sister one more time, you're dead." Suho snaps back.

"Okay." Chanyeol gulps. He looks scared out of his wits. Poor thing!

Suho snaps back to happy mode. "I'll get going soon. I came to take some things." He smiles at us and goes to his room and returns with a couple of bags.

"Bye my lovelies!" He goes out the door.

"Your brother is scary." Tae whispers into my ears. I jump back, since I didn't know she was behind me.

"So are you when you do that." I say as I place my hand on my chest. Phew! That was one confusing experience.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun excuse themselves to go and study. We too decide to go back to studying.

At eight o'clock in the evening, Tae decides to head home.

"Ask your mom if you can stay with me for the next week. Tell her you have a group project with me!" I say as my wifey steps out of the house.

"I'll try. My brother is the loudest person in the universe. NASA should probably hire him to talk to aliens from earth itself. They don't need any other technology. The last time I remember him being quiet was when dinosaurs still roamed on earth." She sighs.

"Bye wifey! Good night!" I say waving as she walks to her house.

I look around the area and my eyes come to a rest on a guy walking towards me.

As the figure comes closer, I recognise the guy as Kai. I wave at him while smiling.

He jogs the rest of the distance to reach me. "Oh hey there! I was just walking around here trying to find the park. Can you help me?" He gives me an innocence cute look.

I can't help but smile at his cute features. "I'll come with you. I also wanted to go there." Well, technically I was thinking of going out so........

His face lights up and he thanks me.

"Oh, it's not a problem. Trust me!" I weave my fingers through his and pull him along the path to the park.

"How long have you lived here?" Kai asks as we walk.

"One year. I live with my brother and his roommates, Chanyeol and Baekhyun." I reply. My eyes can't seem to move from his gorgeous face.

"So your parents?" His gaze cuts right through me. He has such beautiful eyes.

"They live in the southern part of the country with my grandparents. Their businesses are based there." Okay, I need to control myself. Stop looking at him, Y/N!

"Woah! So how is living alone?" He asks. He is looking ahead now.

"They still call my brother all the time to check on me. But, it still feels awesome." I try not to giggle as his smile once again steals my heart.

By this time, we reach the park. I take him to my favourite tree, still holding his hand.

We sit down under the tree and look at the stars. He lays down after sometime.

"The stars are so beautiful." He says. I nod. I take in the magnificent view of the night sky. It's looks breathtaking.

I feel Kai's hands creep up mine and pull me down to lay beside him.

"Get comfortable!" He says. I laugh slightly at this and adjust myself to be comfortable on the grass.

We sit there looking at the night sky. Suddenly my phone rings.

I sit up and take the call, "Hello?"

"Hey Y/N! How is our baby?" My mom's jolly voice shouts.

"I am great, mom. You?" I say smiling.

"Great here too. Are you doing your school work properly?" She enquirers. Her voice is so loud that I am sure that Kai can hear everything.

"Yes mom." I reply.

"Your exercises? Don't eat too much, Okay? Don't you want to look beautiful?"

"Yes mom. I am doing my exercises and looking after my diet."

"I have got you a membership card at my friend's spa. Your skin looks way too dry and you need a facial. Also you need to wax all that hair on your face and body. It's too ugly."

I sigh. My mom is obsessed with looks. Fashion to skin care, she knows it all. Well, it shouldn't be a surprise. She owns a makeup company.

"Thank you mom." I say in an unenthusiastic voice.

"From the last photo I saw, you're staring to get pimples. Make sure to take care of that too." She says.

"Yes, mom. I am with someone. Text me if you want to say anything more." I say and hang up before she could reply.

"Watch your diet? Is she serious?" Kai asks me. He is still laying down but is now propped up on his elbows.

"Yeah. They are obsessed with looks. They say it's because they want me to always be the best." I stare at the ground

His expression showcases pity. "That's stupid. You're just a high school student." He sits up now and crosses his feet.

I look at him. He moves in closer till his face is near mine, his lips bushing against my ear. His hand moves back my fallen bangs from my face.
