Counter attack

"You still trust me?" He asks, his lips touching mine. "Why are you making the same mistake again?"

I open my eyes, looking directly into his eyes. "Kai?" My voice almost a whisper.

"Why are you so stupid?" He asks, a smirk forming. "I feel sorry for you. So .... I am not going to take advantage of this." His hand goes under my chin and he gives me a pitiful look.

"See you! Or not." He says, holding my legs and untangling they from around his waist. "Don't be so innocent! You'll hurt yourself." He says.

He keeps his hands on my knees. "Bye for now." He says, walking towards the door.

I sit on the counter, looking down, trying to not show my feelings. He opens the door and steps out. He looks at me once again before closing the door.

I slide of the counter slowly. My face is expressionless. I go to the door and lock it. I lean against the door and slide down to sit down.

"How can I make you love me, Kai?" I whisper to the walls around me. My voice is rough from the kiss.

I touch my lips. "Why do you have to be so perfect? Why can't I have you?" I ask myself.

My phone suddenly rings. I jolt awake from my position. I run to my phone on my table.

Suho. "Hey oppa! How is the trip?" I ask, hiding my emotions with a smile.

"It's awesome till now. Are you going well? Every alright?" He asks in a jolly voice.

"Yes. Since, there is no one to disturb my peace." I say, laughing.

"Helloooooo!" Chanyeol's voice screams at me. I move the phone away a little.

"Hey Chanyeol oppa!" I laugh.

"Suho, come on! Let's go to the campfire!" A girl's voice shouts.

"Coming. No, that's not my new girlfriend, Y/N. Gotta go. Bye!" Suho says.

"Aish! Get a girl already! Bye!" I say and hang up. "At least someone is happy." I say. I take a shower and slide into a huge hoodie.

I continue my studies and finish around twelve o'clock. I look at my phone and see a bunch of text from Tae.

All of them are about school and how my time with Kai was.

Y/N: Everything was alright. First, tell me how you are feeling!

Tae: I am feeling a little better but not good enough to go to school.

Y/N: I miss you. I'll visit tomorrow. Good night!

Tae: Okay. Good night!

I keep my phone aside to charge and sink into my bed. I stare at the ceiling for a good hour and try to sleep.

"Oh come on! I want to sleep." I kick my blankets. "Let me sleep." I talk to myself.

I try counting backwards from hundred but by the time I reach ninety, my mind shifts to thoughts of Kai.

"Why are you thinking of him, Y/N?" I shout at myself.

"Kai, get out of my mind." I shout to the walls. "I want to sleep."

All my pleas go unanswered and my mind stays with Kai. I think of all the wonderful moments we had.

"Aish! Kai, What are doing to me?" I scream. I get up and take my history textbook. "This is the only way now." I say to myself.

I continue to read through the most boring chapter I could find. I start to feel sleepy.

But the moment I get on my bed, my thoughts go back to Kai and his stupid pretty smile.

"Aghhhhh!" I shout. "I just want to sleep."

I end up getting out of my bed without getting a wink of sleep. I go to the park and walk instead of jogging because I am too tired because of the sleepless night.

I go back and get ready for school. I tiredly walk out to the bus stop after eating my breakfast.

I get on the bus and sit down at a free seat. I stare out the window to look at the beautiful green plants along the road.

I get off at my stop and start walking to the school which is a twenty five minute walk. I reach the school around fifteen minutes to nine and head to class.

My eyes threaten to betray me and close but I manage to keep them open. Every break, I head to the girl's room and wash my face.

After school, I get ready to go when I remember that I have to teach Kai. I groan and drag my tired body to the library.

On the way, while walking along the corridor lined with labs, I spot Kai standing against a wall, looking at the garden next to the school.

I take a deep breath and walk towards him. "Come on! I just want to get this class over with." I say in the angriest voice I can summon.
