Stay

This might be the last chapter for this month. I'll continue writing in April, more specifically April 2nd. I have my finals coming up. All the best to everyone who is writing exams!

"No. Not really. I never really tried to get one either." I say truthfully.

"Really? Wow! I have dated a couple of times." He says, sitting up properly.

"Kai, which is your favourite artist?" I ask.

We ask each other questions for a long time. We just sit there in the half dark room, talking.

I check the time, 12:30. WHAT ON EARTH?!?

It's so late. Where did my phone go? Ahh! It's in my jacket.

"Goodness! It's 12:30. It's so late." I tell Kai. He too looks surprised.

I take my phone from the jacket and check it. 15 missed calls and 10 messages from Suho.

Oh shoot! He is going to be so mad. I immediately call him.

"Y/N! WHAT TIME DO YOU THINK THIS IS? WHERE ON EARTH ARE YOU? WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE THE CALLS OR RESPOND TO MY TEXTS?" Suho shouts.

Even Kai looks scared.

"I am so so so sorry, oppa. I lost track of time. I put my phone on the 'do not disturb' mode. I am so sorry." I say.

"I almost called the police. Idiot! Are you coming back?" He asks.

Kai whispers, "You can stay the night, if you want. I don't want you to leave just yet."

I smile at him, "I think I'll stay here. When did you come back?" I ask Suho.

"I came back just now from the business dinner. Okay, good night now! I am sleepy. Take care!" Suho says. Duality on play again.

I keep the phone in my jacket and turn to Kai, "What do you want to do?" I move closer to him, sitting right in front of him.

"Want to play a board game? Wait, I have a better plan." He says. His smirk is killing me.

"What is this plan?" I say, sitting up on my knees, curiously looking at him with big eyes.

"It goes along a little something like this......" he grabs his pillow and softly hits me. "PILLOW FIGHT!" He shouts. His smile is so cute.

"You are one cheating idiot." I laugh and grab another pillow hitting him back. "Game on." I return a smirk of my own.

We start the fight and it's not long before I overpower him. Guess I forgot to say, I am the queen of pillow fights, thanks to Chanyeol.

I am soon on top of him. My knees are on either side of his hips. I throw away his pillow and softly hit him with the pillow. He laughs super hard.

"St... st... stop! It's ticklish." He says.

I stop and keep the pillow to a side. "Who's the winner now?" I say, not moving my body.

"Guess I should be congratulating you. Huh?" He says. He sits up propped on his elbows. He bites his lips.

Okay, too sexy. Too sexy. Too sexy. Stop, Y/N! Don't think about it! I SAID DON'T THINK ABOUT IT! GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER! Y/N STOP NOW!

I unintentionally bite my lips too. One of his hand holds holds my chin, the other still supporting him. He brings my face down, near his lips.

My hands land on his chest. My body falls on his, causing him to fall down on the soft mattress.

We stay like this for a while, our eyes piercing each other's eyes. The tension builds up between us.

His hands land on back and slowly move up, causing my top to slide along with it. His hands move down again touching my bare skin.

"We should probably sleep now, I am sleepy." I say suddenly. I act sleepy, letting out a yawn.

I am scared what will happen if I don't stop this now. I really don't want to take this too fast.

I slide off him and sit up. "I'll take this pillow." I say starting to get up.

"You can stay here. It's okay." He says grabbing my wrist. "Please, stay here." He too sits up.

He pulls me so that I am laying down on the bed. He pulls the covers over me and pats my head, smiling.

He moves to the other end of the bed, switches off the dim lights. He lays down and turns.

I smile and close my eyes. I turn away from him and slowly drift to dream land.

Next morning, I wake up to a soft warm something on my cheeks. A hand laying carelessly on my waist. A warm body pressed against me from behind.

This feels perfect. Amazing! I can't express how good it feels.

Kai's cheeks pressed against mine move up and down as he snuggles in.

I slowly lift his face and hands off me and get up. I look at him.

He looks so cute while sleeping! Aww!

I take my jacket and go to the mirror. I adjust my hair and my clothes. I check the time. Six o'clock. I still have time.

I take a post-it note and scribble: "Dear Kai,
I have to go to the church so I am leaving. Didn't want to disturb you.
Thank you for the amazing date. I really enjoyed it.
Love,
Y/N."

I place it near his night stand and go down. I unlock the front door and step out to the fresh air outside.

I walk home feeling like spring. Everything suddenly looks twice as beautiful. I smile at every single person whom I see.

I usually do this anyway but it's usually a small smile. Now I am giving them wide teeth showing smiles. I am so weird, I swear.

I go home and take a shower. I get ready for church in a beautiful violet dress. It reaches my knees and has 3/4 sleeves.

I go to church and see Kai there too. We sit together and after the service, we head to my house.

"You will love Baekhyun and Suho oppa. They are awesome." I say as we reach the house.

"If they are anything like you, I am sure of that." He says.

Gosh! How can smile be so beautiful?

I step in, pulling Kai in with me and call out for the boys. Baekhyun and Chanyeol come out of their rooms. Suho is still sleeping.

We have a simple lunch of pancakes, which I made with Kai's help. I told him there was no need for his help but he insisted. The other two boys were too lazy to help.

They get along very well and Suho to gets up after sometime. They talk a lot. Looks like they like him. Good for me!
