Hey guys! This is a shorter chapter and I've almost got the next  chapter ready. So if we get 3 comments by tonight, I will post the next chapter! & trust me, it's a good one.

"Well actually, I'm going to ask something even more of you. Thanks Will." Harry looked at Will and put his hands together.

"So we sent out invitations before I met you but" he paused, looking a littler nervous. It was cute that someone who always seemed so confident be nervous in front of little old Meghan she thought. "Each year we hold a dinner at our grandmothers where we invite the charities we work with to give some speeches and we give our thanks. It's more just like a nice to meet up and chat with everyone since we last saw them. And discuss where our goals are for the future. You'd be coming as my guest and I think it would be really fun for you to also meet some other people involved in charities as well. If you want you could even give a speech?"

Meghan smiled timidly at the both of them who were eagerly looking for her response.

"Yeah that would be lovely. I'm honored!"

Will both grinned and Harry looked relieved. Harry then hugged her.

"Is this lemon merengue pie?" Will asked in the background.

"Uh-" Meghan was about to tell him that it had been touched by their fingers as they had earlier been trying to show each other who could eat messier.

"Yes, yes it is. Take a slice if you'd like. Meghan actually made it." Harry interrupted her and grinned devishly as Meghan, daring her to say anything. Instead she just slapped his chest and shook her head.

Brothers will be brothers she thought, despite being the royal brothers.

The five days leading up to the "Thank You Dinner," Meghan was stressed out to say the least. Harry had left the country for a few days at service in Afghanistan of all places where she definitely could not get a hold of him. Which was maybe for the best, because if he saw the ball of mess she was now, he'd might reconsider extending his offer to her now. And how could she pass up an opportunity like this?

Instead, she bothered Ben to help her with her speech to make sure it was acceptable and perfected.

Meghan was sitting on her couch reading a book when she head a ringing. She padded to the front door. "Hey it's me. Um... Harry." Meghan heard Harry's voice over the intercom. She was so excited, she wasn't expecting him over.

After ringing her up and giving him a much needed hug, he gave her a bouquet of flowers.

"Thank you! I thought you would be too tired!"

"You're all the refuelling I need." He kissed her and mumbled in her neck as he had one arm around her waist and the other hand on the back of her head.

Harry couldn't wait to tell Meghan all the things he saw on this trip. Especially about a little girl he met on the streets who she would have loved to meet. He couldn't ever talk about this with many people but he knew Meghan was exceptional and would actually be interested.

"You know my father was in the army back in the States?" Meghan shared first. "I didn't see him much after I turned 15. Then it was just my mother and I. He would be stationed in different places all the time and well, my mother didn't want to leave our town. She just had too many friends there. And you know, they both met there in that town. Some people just never want to leave I guess. But I'm interested to hear about your trip! Tell me!" Meghan bounced on the couch.

Harry shared with her the different things he saw and did. Meghan's energy was infectious and he couldn't help but feel just as excited when sharing his stories.

Meghan grew sleepy as Harry shared his last story from a different trip he had been on. She rested her head against his shoulder and Harry chuckled softly. He stopped.

"Hey Meghan." Nudging her a little.

"Mhmm."

"Get some rest and tomorrow I'm going to take you somewhere, okay?"

He got up and laid her head down on the long couch. He then got a blanket and draped it over her body as she snuggled further into the couch. He admired her for a minute with her eyes closed looking at ease. Hopefully he wasn't asking too much of her in a short period of time to go to the dinner in two days time. But hopefully his plans tomorrow would relieve her of that.

"Mhmm." She murmured, blissfully unaware of where he would be taking her.
