Meghan couldn't decipher her feelings anymore. She was either angry that he interrupted her first event she had coordinated for the Heads Together organization or ecstatic that the event would be better now with him here. She wanted it to be perfect, and having Harry show up unexpectedly to speak at the end of her event threw her through a loop.

"Alright ladies. Thank you all for taking time out of your day today to focus on your development and ensuring my first event wasn't empty." Meghan joked. The girls laughed.

And then from the corner of her eye she could see Harry appear. His tan suit and red hair made for a nice clean neutral look, but his eyes stole her attention.

Harry laughed as he caught the last part of Meghan's speech. Scratching his perfectly scruffy chin then crossing his arms he shifted out enough for one of the girls to gasp.

The girl started to hurriedly tap the girl beside her, her knees slightly lifting her higher off her seat, and then the energy of the room elevated. All eyes were wide, smiles open wider than they already had been from the event.

"And now for one last talk, please welcome Prince Harry." Meghan finally acknowledged his presence. She stepped back as Harry walked in front of her and did a two handed wave to the women and then turned back to Meghan.

He was going in for a hug but Meghan quickly stuck her hand out to a handshake. What an awkward moment. Luckily for her, the girls were too an awe to notice.

After Harry gave his speech. He thanked Meghan for putting on a great event. And they all applauded her. She quickly forgot her momentary hatred for Harry's improptu appearance. If she had been able to just help one of those girls go forth on a better path and aid them in their journey thus far, she would be happy. Meghan graciously accepted their thanks.

Once the girls had all dispersed after taking photos with Prince Harry, Meghan found her self face to face with Harry. Amanda wasn't around to distract her like last time.

"Hi Harry." She said. Looking at him briefly before looking around the room.

"Hi Meghan. I hope that it was okay that I dropped by. I heard from Amanda about this event that you were throwing on and decided to come by. It turned out great, all those ladies are so lucky to have had this opportunity to come out here today. And it couldn't have been experienced without you." Harry praised her. The smile on his face seemed genuine.

"Thanks Harry. A heads up would have been nice though." Meghan retorted.

"Well I did try calling you. That was the right phone number you gave to me right?" He asked.

Oh right... Meghan had seen his call but thought it was about something unrelated to work. Now she looked like the bad guy.

"Oh right, sorry I missed your call. Super busy and all."

"Well if you wouldn't mind I'd like to take you out for dinner."

Harry could sense the hesitation in Meghan's reaction.

"We can talk about your work and I'd like to see if I can help with any upcoming events." Harry tried to convince her of going out for dinner on working terms. He wasn't used to having to ask someone to spend time with him, without already having tried to make plans with him before.

Meghan still wasn't sure what exactly Harry's intentions were. Was he truly interested in the Heads Together foundation, or was he more interested in trying to get to know her more. She didn't really want to have to open up any further. She already had during their first encounter together at Tea Heaven. And she only let herself because she was in a new environment and she didn't think the stranger would see her again. Either way, she found herself yet again in a distraught state where her mind couldn't go into auto-pilot and kindly decline the offer. Besides, he did make it seem like this was to do with work. And she wanted to do the best at her job. Having the Prince Harry attend and help her with some events would improve the Heads Together outreach indefinitely.

And before she could even process her thoughts completely, she agreed. Harry gave a wide grin making the skin around his eyes crease. And Meghan found herself smiling too as he helped Meghan into her coat.

Hmmmm... Harry seems awfully nice. Is he secretly using work as an excuse to talk to Meghan or does he truly want to get more involved with the charity Meghan is a part of. Cheeky Harry!
