Suprise

Kelli woke up the next morning and heard the sound of heaven. The waves. Crashing on the shore, over and over again. She threw her blanket off to the side of her bed, slipped off her clothes and rolled open the swimsuit drawer. Two seconds later she was in her favorite suit...her wet suit. A grey with blue on the sides. she tied up her hair, left a note for her parents and ran for the water with her board snuggled against her side. She was running, freely and the water hit her suit turning it darker. She smiled as the salt kissed her lips. She threw out her board and hopped on. Paddling, she could see she wasn't the only one who thought an early surf was good, there he was. Sitting in the water, on his board holding what looked like a bracelet to some resort. Kelli thought about going over to see Nick, but then knew that was what he wanted. She continued until he came to her. She stopped, looking devastated even though he is all she can think about. " Hello" He said, showing his incredible smile. Kelli shyly turned her head to the side and pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear. " what do you want?" Kelli said, crossing her arms to show that she didn't want him, but she did. " I go for swims like this in the morning all the time." He said, looking down at the pooka shell bracelet. "mhm. What's that for?" Kelli said, looking at the bracelet. " You can have it if you want. It was my mother's. She died on this board in this water." Kelli was so shocked. She didn't want to have to comfort him but Kelli was too nice to let it slide and leave him. "I'm so sorry." Kelli decided to take the bracelet and thanked him with a kiss on the cheek. It was beginning to look like it would storm so Kelli started to get on her belli and paddle inward when soemthing yanked her back, Nick. "Meet me. Outside at 9." He sauf demanding. Kelli said nothing.

It was 8:55 and Kelli was ready as she could be. She had a suit underneath a pretty red and white stripped halter top and some Levi shorts. She had a beach dress in her backpack and some snacks in case she got hungry. 9:00. Kelli opened the door and there he was. Right on time in his white BMW. Kelli realized she'd only known this guy for two days. She wasn't about to get in the car. Nick holed out and opened the passenger side door for her. Reluctantly, Kelli got in, keeping her backpack on her lap. "I'm not kidnapping you." He said. "That's what they all say.." he smirked and Kelli felt more comfortable. "Where are we going?" Kelli asked. "Shhhh" He said. This annoyed Kelli but 5 minutes later they arrived at the aquarium. "How'd you know?" She said. "Shhh." He said taking her hand and closing the door behind her. This was the aquarium she would love going to as a child when they visited her grandparents up here. You could pet the stingrays and feed the dolphins. The sun was now shining and the temperature outside was perfect. Entering it was all as Kelli had remembered. She knew most of the people who worked there too. But someone new had come I guess... —"hey Carl! I'm off today, so I'm taking this lovely lady to her favorite thing." Nick said, talking to the boy in a blue polo and name tag that read Carl. Kelli smiled softly, and nick noticed. "happy?" He said. "Yes I am." Kelli said. Let's go check this place out
