Chapter 28

Chapter 28 ; Water Fights and Awkward Dinners

The freezing cold water surrounded me, making me shiver as I fall into Approximately six feet of water, which enveloped me completely

I came back up with my mouth in the shape of an 'O' I opened my eyes and I see three smirking boys, and I turn around, Aiden is smiling really wide

"Close your mouth unless you want something in it" Taylor smirks making the other boys laugh and gove him a highfive

I rolled my eyes and heard Aiden say something along the lines of "Watch your mouth" , but all I could think about was getting out of the pool and pushing in Taylor with his beanie

I made my way toward the stairs, getting up and making signs toward Aiden whom is looking at me confused, while the other three are dieing of laughter from god knows what, Aiden nods his head toward me, understanding

We make our way toward them, and pushed them all in, since they were still too busy laughing, they didn't notice at all until they were on their way down, but it was already too late..

"Fuck" was all I heard Taylor say before me and Aiden jumped in after them

After a while of water fighting, playing games and just being plain babies, we decided to go into the house, and I couldn't stop letting the boys know I was hungry "I'm hungryyyyyy" I whined like a child

"What do you want me to do?" Aaron questioned

"Feeeeed me" I smiled after

"What do you want to eat?" Aiden asked drinking some soda

"Hmmm" I placed a hand on my chin stroking my imaginary beard and thinking for a while

"Mac n' Cheese!" I practically screamed

"Okay, sit tight we'll make it" Aiden said and all the boys went into the kitchen to make me food

A couple minutes later Aaron comes out with his head down on his phone

"What happened?" I asked him

"They kicked me out because I can't cook" he chuckled

"Oh I mean of course, it's terribly hard reading instructions from a box, I forgot you haven't majored in engineer yet, you aren't licensed for that" I sarcastically said

"You know, London, your sarcastic traits are going to get you in much trouble, my dearest" he smiled coming closer to me putting his phone in his back pocket, coming toward me with his hands out wiggling his fingers. I already knew where this was going, I couldn't let him know tickling was my weakness, he will most definitely use that in his advantage

Instead of closing my eyes and preparing for what was about to happen, like my lazy instincts expected me to do, I did what I never thought I would do, got up from the couch and ran as far as my feet could take me

I ended up upstairs, in my original bedroom, which looks completely untouched since I haven't slept here in months

I placed my ear on the door, listening for Aaron's footsteps, but instead I heard nothing, except for the noise of the boys downstairs, loudly talking for absolutely no reason at all.

I gave up after about three minutes of listening and sat down on the desk chair for a while, until I heard a knock at the door "Yeah?" I answered back to the person on the other side

"Babe, foods ready" I heard Aiden's soft voice I breathed out, relieved and opened the door and came face to face with Aiden when I opened the door

"Thanks" I thanked him in advance for the food

"You okay? you were locked up in here for quite a while" he said kissing the tip of my nose making me smile and blush

"Yeah, I'm fine" I reassured him with a smile

He gave me a wierd look not quite convinced, but he let it go anyways, making our way downstairs hand in hand

We all sat around the table, eating Mac and cheese with broccoli, one of my favorites

"Seriously you guys, thank you this tastes great, mine would've came out terrible. I'm not much of a cook" I smiled at them

"Your mom never taught you how to cook?" Taylor asked and I immediately stiffened as everyone stared at me, Aiden had a sad look in his eyes, and everyone else just curious, little did they know, my mother wasn't the loving type

"Uh, no not really, me and my mom weren't exactly, close per say" I stammered, unsure of how to respond, but he didn't catch on

"What about you're dad?" he ate his food without a care in the world

My stomach curled remembering memories of the bastard and I suddenly had lost my appetite

"Anyone up for a game of cod?" Aiden cut me off before I spoke and got up

A chorus of "yes" were heard, and they all stood up and went to the living room

Aiden stayed behind, and gave me sympathetic eyes "I'm sorry" he looked into my eyes, kissing my nose

"It's fine, he didn't know.. thank you though, for taking the attention off of me" I said in a slight whisper

"You know I'd do anything for you, I love you remember that" he pecked my lips and made me smile

"Now eat" he finished it off pulling his hands away from my cheeks where they previously were

"I'm not hungry anymore" I got up with my plate placing it in the refrigerator for later, when my appetite returns

He sighed in defeat "Fine, but I'm gonna go now before they think I ditched them, I love you" he didn't even let me respond before he ran into the living room

Short chapter, and doesn't make up for all the time I've been not updating, especially since it's been a month and some change, all I've gotta say is I've been extremely lazy, but I love you guys 😘😏
