people can be very manipulative. and people can be manipulated. i don't know why it takes me so long to realize it. people know when they have you hooked. they know you'll always be there for them to run back to. and you're always there waiting, patiently, and it's never really right. they talk to you, but it feels like they don't want to. it feels like you're burdening them. and then they come running back to you when everything has gone wrong. no. i'm not here only for the bad times. i wanna be here for the good too. i want to be here all of the time. we are all just chasing after people who wouldn't even stand for us and the saddest part is we are willing to do it. we are willing to change everything about ourselves just for a maybe. and i guess that's what love does to us.
