Chapter Twenty One

Abhi's POV :-

She pushed me away with her full strength and she backed off. I could see rage, tears and fear in her eyes, all at the same time.

"I love you! Ye teen labse tumhare liye mazak hosakta hai Mr.Abhi Nizam Qureshi but not for me." She said loudly while placing her hand on her forehead, combing her hair back with her fingers.

"Tumhe maaza aaraha hoga Mr.Abhi Nizam Qureshi par ye meri zindagi ka sawal hai. Love is not a joke." She shouted and I could see tears escaping her eyes but her lips were curved in a bittersweet laughter.

"I am serious, Vaidehi." I said softly.

"Serious! Huh! Tumhe andaaza bhi hai ki kya kya ho sakta hai iss pyar ke vaje se? See Abhi you are a Muslim and I am a higher cast Hindu aur mai jahan se hun wahan ki log ye relation kabhi except nahi karenge aur uska anjaam kya ho sakta hai isska tumhe koi andaaza nahi hain! So just leave." She shouted out. "Just leave Mr.Qureshi! Just...." She was walking away. I can't bear the words. I don't care what people will say, the only thing I care about now is Vaidehi.

"I don't know what will happen and I even don't want to know. The only thing I'm concerned about now is you. You Vaidehi. Do you love me? Do you feel the same way I feel for you? Please answer honestly. Not thinking about what anyone else except for you and me will do, say, think and etc. Please for once answer honestly. Please." To my utter shock, she stopped at her tracks. She even turned back and looked at me.

"Don't want the love which is not meant to be. Iss pyaar se dard ke ilava aur kuch nahi milega tumhe. Kya seh sakoge utna dard?" She said and stopped for a while. Maybe for my reply but I was numb.

Finally she laughed and said, "Chor do Abhi. Yeh ishq humare liye nahi hain. Yeh ishq bulava galat hain. Sahi ishq bulave ko suno. Tumhara sach ishq bulava Vani hain. Vani tumhe wo pyaar de sakega jo main kabhi nahi deh sakti. Vani tumhe chahati hai Abhi. Maine usske aakhon mein tumhare liye wo pagalpan dekhi hain. Wahi tumhare liye sahi hain. Mujhe paneki zid chor do." She turned about and was about to walk away.

"Par tumhare aankhon mein maine mere liye pyaar dekhi hain. Aur pyaar pagalpan se barkar hota hain. Pyaar sabse barkar hain. Aur tum kabhi bhi pyaar ke ishq bulave ko galat nahi bol sakte par han humare liye ye ishq bulava kuch aasan nahi hain par ishq bulava hoti hi kuch aisi hain. Kisiko pata nahi chalta ki kab ishq bulava ayage. Ishq bulava, ave, jab ave."
