You sit in the workshop, your clothes covered in a light spray of blood. Jason, in the other room. He told you he was ' Clearing up the mess ' . You look up as the door opens and you see the puppeteer stagger out, holding his arm near his chest as it drips blood. You see then the extend of Jason's actions. The grey skinned man had a hand missing. You sigh relieved, not because of the puppeteer's loss but because of the fact that he was still alive. You still had some sanity let in you. You cross the arms and begin to figit as you watch the black clad man leave. Something had come over you back there, something odd. You felt like your soul snapped in two. Your mind torn between your humanity and the toymaker. It worried you but you didn't have time to ponder your actions as the door opened once more. Jason exited the room, carting a verity of blood soaked rags. He gently sets them down on his work bench and makes his way over to you, sitting next to you and looking into your eyes.
" Jason, I appreciate all you have done for me but I really think I should..." You see the expression on the toymaker turn sour and his eyes glow once more, having angered him again. You stop mid sentence, deciding it wasn't the best idea to finish. Jason sighed and held your hands gently, the glow lingering.
" My dear doll ( Y\N ) I cannot let you leave. You are my chosen one and must stay by my side " You frown, really wanting to leave. You thought it was best for your sanity if you did so but Jason would just pull you back with sweet words and lies. Sensing your sadness Jason sighs once more.
" However, I am willing to compromise" You look up to meet the gaze of the toymaker, joy filling your own eyes and the feeling very obvious on your features.
" You stay here and help me make my toys and dolls, then you go to your realm and sell them in a shop we open. Then you are not always here and you have some freedom " Jason almost grimaced when mentioning freedom, obviously never giving it to anyone before. Jason wasn't willing to let you go but those few hours of freedom away from the toymaker were a start and could do wonders for your sanity. You nod slowly, knowing that at this point you were going to get no better. You watched as the glow in Jason's eyes subsided and he returned to his normal and human looking form, wondering how someone so sweet could also be so deadly.
