The Wilderness is a depopulated zone. It was created by the Ky and supported by the Empire. It serves as a buffer b/t the Ky and the Mostrel. The Mostrel have no interest in the systems in that area, most of its systems are small and have little industry - and now no population.
Sunderbans, the barrier between the Galaxy Core and the Rim. It has several names, but they all mean the same thing: If you go in, you won't come out.
