CIA academy of espionage

9:00 pm

Bens POV

I spent the night partying. After all, it was a successful mission. And my main nemesis has died. The night was alive with music and dancing. We originally started the party in the rec room, but we then found out that is was too small for all the people who wanted to join in. So we moved it to the massive plane just outside of our dorm building. A little further and then you would hit the forest. Mike brought his speakers and if you weren't partying, then you were annoyingly awake, wishing for us to die. We had cooler after cooler filled with pop. There were many flashing lights and at least half the school was out. I was on my third drink by the time 10:00 went around. The principal tried to stop the party, yet when he did all he earned was a giant angry mob of students. He didn't try again. We even got a live band to play as it turns out that there was a really good rock band that consisted of students. Unfortunately, I couldn't find Erica anywhere in the party. Yet, to be honest, I completely forgot about her. Until she snuck up right behind me.

"Hey, nice party." She said. I jumped back and nearly spilled my pop all over myself.

"It's a good party- You HAVE GOT to stop doing that," I said.

"Mabey you should have better senses. You know, you really suck as a spy." She said.

"At least I'm not a cold loner who spends all their time studying or whatever the heck you do." I spat back. I had no idea where all of that came from. But it attracted the attention of a few people next to us.

"I just tried to talk to you? What did I ever do?" She asked. Her eyes turned colder than it already was, which I didn't know was possible.

"First off, you insulted me as a spy. Second, look, I've been under a lot of stress lately. Just please don't sneak up on me." I said, slightly, but not fully, ashamed of what I had just said.

"It's OK I guess. Then again, I haven't ever killed anybody." She replied.

"Why are you here to talk to me?" I asked as I was genuinely curious about the reasons.

"For fun." She replied as she grabbed an ice cold soda from a nearby cooler.

"You don't do anything for fun," I said. I took a sip from my pop.

"That's where you're wrong." She said, "I used to do plenty of things for fun. Just, not anymore."

"Yeah, well. Kinda the same thing." I replied. I began walking away from the center of the party. Then, to my dismay. Mike ran into us.

"Hi, guys, a really great party you have going on here Ben." Then he noticed Erica. I began getting nervous. "Hi there, didn't know you were here." luckily, Erica seemed just as willing to get out of the conversation as I was.

"Sorryyyyyyyyyyy." She said. "But Ben and I need to talk." then she led me to the outskirts of the party. It was now 10:30. She turned to me. "I got intel for our next mission." She said.

"Can it please wait 'till the morning. Can't you see I'm having a good time?" I said. I just got back from another mission, I was really sick of it.

"No, it can't wait-" She started, but I cut her off.

"Enjoy yourself while you can, we'll talk in the morning." Then I gave her a pointed look and moved back into the center of the party.

Erica's POV

Sometimes, when you want to help people they just don't listen. I tried to tell Ben that I found out what our next mission was. He said wait 'till tomorrow. Then he blended into the crowd. I tried to find him inside the massive blob of people. The music rang as loud as a concert. It was chaos. I finally found Ben.

"WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE MISSION." you had to scream to be heard over the music. Ben turned to me.

"We can Talk IN THe MORNING ABOUT THIS." He yelled back. He was obviously very annoyed.

"BUT-" I started to say, then he cut me off.

"Enjoy yourself, we'll talk in the morning." And with that, he left.
