The CIA academy of espionage

Ben's POV

The Van Halen rang in my ears. I forgot about the conversation that I had with Erica just a few hours ago. I was having fun, but what she said stuck in my head. I wasn't as hiding feelings as I had thought so Zoe noticed.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked.

"Nothing. Just forget about it." I answered. She didn't talk to me for the rest of the night. But then I saw Erica making her way to my general direction. I immediately went the other way. I had enough problems as it was at the moment and to be honest, I was really sick of missions. Especially after killing someone and watching a friend die. But, as always, she somehow caught up to me.

"What do you want now?" I asked. Not refraining from using a very annoyed voice. A hind of anger was in there too. Erica looked a bit taken back, but she continued anyway.

"The mission-" She began.

"Is something I don't give a crap about." I finished. Erica suddenly was very angry.

"What do you mean 'the mission' is something you don't give a crap about. How could you say that?" She yelled. We were on the outskirts of the party. She continued. "It is something that concerns your very life. When Jessica died, she left a huge sum of money to a guy named Yohan Ilsheaman. Ever heard of him?"

"No."

"Well, turns out that he had a connection to SPYDER. And Mike."

That last part surprised me. What did Mike have to do with this? "What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"I mean that he knows Mike. And that's not all. This guy was also a huge help to Pual Lee in transporting the nuclear bomb to Leo Shang. He was also the one who sold the missiles to SPYDER. Not Paul Lee as we had originally thought."

I finally caved in. "Fine, when are we activated?" I asked.

"Tomorrow," Erica replied.

"Where are we going?"

"China."

I sighed. Tomorrow was going to be a very, very long day.
