Chapter 17

Adams pov.

We are headed to the party.

We get there when I realize that it's my fraternity.

I look over to Shakira. She looks scared but also excited.

" are you sure you wanna go?" I ask her

She nods

"You don't have to." I clearly say to her.

"I wanna go in. I have to face my fears at some point. " she says

"Plus, what are the chances of them being in there?" She asks

She's got a point. But then again, it's a party, anyone can get in.

We walk in the door.

It seems like time has stopped, because everybody stops what there doing and stares at us.

We ignore them and keep walking with our heads high.

Then people starts coming towards us, surprisingly they congratulate us.

To be honest, I was expecting people to call Shakira names because she's with me.

Shakira and I walk over to where we had out first kiss.

" remember our first kiss?" I ask her

"Yeah, " she says, smirking at the memory.

"After that I got drunk and almost fell down" she remembers

"Yeah, I caught you" I say while laughing

We both start laughing at those memories

But we stop when we see Kevin.

I look at Shakira.

"Maybe we should leave now" she suggest

"Yeah we should" I say

I take her hand and we walk toward to the door,

when we where stopped by Kevin.

"Where are you going? The party has just started" he says

"We have to go" I say

"Why?" He asks in a fake sweet voice.

"Because we don't wanna be in the same room with your ugly ass" Shakira says

I look over to her.

I'm impressed, I didn't think she had it in her.

"What did you just call me?' He asks

"You heard her. Now leave us alone!" I shout

Then Kevin spills his drink all over me.

I got so mad, I couldn't hold it in anymore.

I hit him square in the face.

I took Shakira's hand and ran out the door, because I didn't want to get caught by campus police.
