Chapter 18

Shakira's pov.

Adam grabbed my hand and we ran. I didn't know what was going on until we stopped.

"What is going on?!?" I ask

"I punched a guy" Adam said while smiling

I look at him in shock

"Why would you do that!??!? you could be arrested!" I lectured him

He then made a face and put his hands on his head

"I am such an idiot!!!" he shouted

Now I feel bad. I just made him feel stupid.

"You're not an idiot. You just made a mistake. It happens, don't worry, it doesn't matter" I say trying to comfort him

"BUT IT DOES MATTER!!!!" he screamed

"Adam, you're scaring me" I say frightened

he looks at me with wide-eyes

"I'm sorry Shakira. it's just....." he said

"It's just what?" I ask

"It's just" Adam said before he was cut off

" Adam Levine?" an officer asked

"Yeah" Adam nodded

"You are under arrest for assaulting Kevin Bloom. you have the right to remain silent, everything you say, can and will be used against you in the court law. you have the right to a lawyer, if you cannot afford one, then one will be appointed to you." The officer said

"Do you understand these rights?" the officer asked

"Yes" Adam said

The officer took him away.

I didn't know how to react. I mean, I couldn't

I immediately grab my phone and call Jake

"Yo" Jake answered

"Jake. You, Blake, Carly, and Usher meet me at the police station." I say quickly

I hung up before he could protest.

I get back to my car when I here a voice behind me

"Where do you think you're going?" the voice asked

Then my whole world went black.
