Adams pov.

Pregnant?

did I hear correctly? No,no,no this can't be happening!

not after all we've been through.

a baby?

"Pregnant?" I ask

"Yup congrats! If you don't want a baby at 18, then there is always adoption and termination " dr. Kelly said

The word 'termination' made me cringe.

"Well, I'll leave you to talk" Dr. Kelly said while exiting the room

I look over to Shakira who is in complete shock.

"Adam. I'm pregnant" Shakira said

"Yeah." I say while stroking her hair softly

"Adam. I don't think I can be a mother." Shakira says sadly

"Shakira. what are you saying?" I ask

"I don't know. I'm barely an adult. I have school, friends, singing, you. how are we going to take care of a baby?" she asks madly

"I don't know. But whatever we choose. I will always be there to support you" I said sweetly

"Ok. abortion is out of the question. I will never murder our baby" she said

"Adoption?" I suggest

"I don't know. I mean, I want to be apart of her or his life" she said

"It's ok. we don't have to decide right now. I think we should just rest. it been a really hard day" I say

"Your right. we'll talk about it later" she agrees

"Ok. I love you" I say

"Love you too" Shakira says

I give her a soft kiss and fall asleep.
