Chapter 20

Shakira's pov.
"Kevin?" I ask
"Hey" Kevin says casually
"Why are you doing this?" I ask
"You're husband gave me this" he said while pointing a bruise
"So I'm going to make him pay" he added
"Please Kevin don't do this!" I plea
"Sorry. I really don't think I could do that" he said
I started sobbing quietly
"Don't worry. I won't hurt you, unless Adam doesn't pay" he said
I didn't listen because all I heard was, if Adam doesn't pay in time, I will never be able to see him again.

Adams pov.
Me and my friends got in my car and started driving. All I could do was drive. I wasn't focused on anything else. While everyone else was talking, I was in Limbo.
"Adam are you ok?" someone asked
I snapped out of darkness
"What?" I asked confused
"Who do you think kidnapped Shakira?" Usher asked
"I DONT KNOW!" I shouted
everyone looked at me in shock
"I'm sorry. I'm just.....just" I said before I was cut off
"Don't worry, we want Shakira free as much as we do" Blake said trying to comfort me
"I know." I said

Blake's pov
The rest of the car ride was silent.
When we arrived at the university, I saw that jackass Kevin.
"Hey Blake" Kevin said bitterly
"Kevin. I really don't want to deal with you right now" I said
"Ok. all I wanted to say was that I hope Shakira is ok" he said
"Thank man" I said
We hugged and then we left.
"What did Kevin want?" asked Carly
"Just told me that he wanted Shakira safe" I said
It was silent for a moment then Adam spoke up
"Wait.... how does Kevin kn-"
Then Adam opened his eyes wide because he was in such shock.
"What?!?" I shout at him
"Kevin kidnapped Shakira!" he shouted back
Then everything started to come together.
