Carson's POV

"Carson? Carson are you up?" Someone asked and I uncovered my face.

"Yeah?" I asked them and cleared my throat.

"You look like a train wreck. What happened to you?" Jayson asked me I covered my head again. "What happened to you?" He again asked and I groaned.

"Nothing." I said to him and he came over to me.

"I just don't want to talk about it." I said and turned around to face the wall. I felt my bed dip down and the covers were lifted.

"Tell me what's wrong." Jayson said and a tear left my eye.

"He's cheating on me. Oliver is cheating on me with that chick from back home. He lied to my face and said he loves me." I said to him and he hugged me.

"Carson, don't cry. We all knew he wasn't serious so there isn't a reason to cry. You know your phone didn't ring once while you were asleep. He didn't even call to tell you he reached home." Jayson said and I continued to cry as I wiped the tears away. He really isn't making me feel better if that's what he's trying to do.

"I just can't with people right now. Jayson your 'help' isn't helping cause I feel worse than I did before. Can you please please leave me alone?" I said to him through the tears and he shook his head and hugged me to his chest while I cried.

"If you stop crying a little I'll tell you a story." He said and I laughed a little and he chuckled.

"I'm not 3 and I didn't lose my teddy bear. It's right there in the corner." I said and pointed to the teddy bear in the corner of my bed.

"Haha yeah. Anyway, there was a a guy named Zach and he dated this beautiful girl named Hailey. Zach feel in love with Hailey and she said she was in love too. They went on amazing dates and spent a lot of time with each other. One day, Zach wanted to surprise her with a little gift so he went to her house and rang the bell. When nobody answered he turned the knob and it was open so Zach went inside only to find the house empty and nothing but a folded note. The note said, 'I'm in love with you but I couldn't be with you. Don't forget me. Love, Hailey.' After Zach read the note he got out his phone and called Hailey but nobody answered. Zach took that as his final goodbye to Hailey and went home. All he did was feel numb. The heartbreak was really hard on him and the next morning he woke up and saw that Hailey was in the paper. She was reported dead from a car accident with her parents. That news broke him even more and for about three months he did nothing but focus on school work and sleep. The end." Jayson said and I cried halfway to the end.

"Jayson I'm so sorry. What were you going to give her?" I asked cause I'm not dumb. It was obviously about him.

"A ring. This happened earlier this year. I was a wreck. I know I'm kinda young but love is love. I wanted to have her forever and never let her go. I wanted to start a family with her and grow old together no matter how cliche that may sound." He said and I felt sorry for him.

"You're right but you're also wrong. She said she was in love but was she really? The kisses and hugs are overrated. I mean relationships are about personality and trust. Wait a minute. That never happened to you! You made me solve my own problems." I said and he smiled. I'm obviously dumber than I thought.

"Haha I'm magical, aren't I? I helped you and when the time comes you'll help me. Got it? Ok. I have a thing to go do. I'm lying I just don't want to be in here. Bye." He said and pushed me away from him then ran out the room.
