I ran to the side and vomited. Mom came beside me and asked me if I was okay. "Yes, ma. I'm fine." I went back to the place where Issac was standing with dad. He looked at me worriedly. "Baby, what happened? What were you doing there?" I told him everything. "You're sick?" He asked, curiously. "No, maybe because I ate too much then I was running and all." He nodded and kissed my forehead.
"What did the officer said?" He shook his head. "Nothing. Just keep walking. But there might be soldiers that will help us." He explained. Somehow I grabbed his hand and smiled at him. "We will be okay." He smiled in return.
"So, now we still have to go to the airport?" Dad asked and we nodded. We began walking and walking. Airport was just few minutes away. Just then, people started running back.
"Excuse me? What happened?" I tried asking a lady with two kids in her arms. "Don't go there. Zombies attacked the airport." She ran away. I looked at Issac with my eyes widened. "Issac, we.. we have to hide." I turned around and saw people running and screams were getting louder. Shit.
"Mom, da--" I turned around and I only saw Issac who was holding my hand. "Where are they?" I asked him. Issac turned around and looked here and there. It was very crowded. People were pushing each other but Issac held my hand. I followed him like a little girl. "Issac, where are they?" Tears were streaming down to my cheeks. "Baby, we have to hide. Zombies are here."
Issac left the crowd and entered in an abandoned building. It was dark, dusty and quiet. It was even scarier here. We went up the stairs, maybe to the last floor. It was a terrace and we sat at the corner, hiding. "It's windy here." Issac pulled me closer to him. "Baby, I'm sorry. But they might be with other people. And they will be alright. They are strong. We tried our best to find them." Issac looked at me and wiped a tear on cheek. "I love you." I nodded.
"How long are we going to be here?"
"Not until we get help. We need to keep quiet. We are safe here."
