I smiled at his words, I loved it when Lucas spoiled me with with his sweet genuine words, with his delightful actions. I loved when he told me things that made me feel special.

He never failed to make me blush, smile or even give me butterflies. He always knew what to say, when to say it and in what perspective. He always knew how to made me feel special.

He always knew what I wanted from a guy to say to me. And tonight, he proved that he's that guy.

I loved how open Lucas is with his feelings, he's not the type of guy that hides a way he feel. If he feels a type of way, he tells you. He was very open about his feelings. Which I adore.

He told me things that got my stomach nervous at times, that made my heart beat a million times faster, that woke my butterflies up, thing that made my heart flutter the fuck a lot. And those things are possibly the reason why I still love Lucas till this day.

Though he made me cry, but tonight this tear was the best tear I've ever had in my entire life. A tear of happiness and joy. Given this was the first day, I knew it was gonna be specw and different. I was expecting something big. And the way that Lucas spoke, I knew something big was coming.

He wiped my tears away with his thumb, pressed against my check. "Sunshine, don't cry. Fuck, shit, ass .. I didn't mean to make you cry, I-" "Lucas, I .. I love you" I cut him off by hugging him.

A smile appear on my face as my tears stopped. I heard him sigh with a relief, "I thought I made you cry sunshine" the concern in his voice could've been heard.

I laugh slightly pushing him away.

"You did, but tears of joy my love." I smiled as I told him. I saw him smile and he cupped my cheeks and planted a kiss on my forehead.

I smiled and held onto helds, "You're my everything and more Lucas" I whispered to him. I saw him blushed.

WHAT? HE BLUSHED? LUCAS DOBRE BLUSHES?

I rested my head on this shoulders and he placed his arm around me, just looking at the city lights. This is all I've ever wish for.

Lucas and I. Just us. Alone. Together.

"The lights are beautiful, aren't they?" I asked him. "They are, but not as beautiful as you sunshine" He whisper and he kissed my head.

I smiled at Lucas, as I admire his face, as he pushed me closer to him. His touch was heaven to me.

Though I was confused as he stood up. "are we going?" I asked. He didn't answer me, he pulled out is phone and I saw him searching for something on it. I wasn't quite sure as to what it is.

"You okay?" Again I asked. Ignored. What? Is everything okay? I was so confuse, until he leaned his hand out. I notice he wanted me to stand up, so I took his hand.

He wrapped his hands around my waist, pulling me closer. I took this as a sign that we're gonna dance. So I placed my hands around his neck.

I was surprised at the song that was being played. A smiled formed at the corner as I heard it. Genuine Love played as Lucas smiled and held me close to him.

He pushed our foreheads together, "I still remembered the first day I feel in love with you, I remembered as we danced to this song in the park near the lake in Maryland. I won't forget that day, the day I finally realized how beautiful my best friend is and how much I love you Anisha. I still remember it all" he whispered to me.

I smiled at him, "And I still remember questioning myself if I'm inove with you, I've always known the answer Lucas since we were kids." I whispered back.
