Ally's pov-

I looked at the clock... 7.30pm.. I figured I should start getting ready for Ashton's party, I wasn't entirely warming to the idea that I'd have to spend a whole night with people I hate but hopefully they'll ignore me. I got up off the sofa and dragged myself up to my room where I started to heat my curlers, I didn't usually curl my hair but I was feeling like a change. If I was going to this party I might as well make an impression. whilst they were heating up I grabbed the bag with my dress in and laid it out on the bed, it was quite a revealing dress but showed my curves nicely.

"Are you okay love?" my mum came in and I nodded. "yeah, I'm just getting ready..." I sighed, beginning to feel awkward. "for that party" she tried to make convosation. "yes, now I've only got an hour so can you leave please" I tried to stay patient but couldn't help but feel guilty as her expression dropped. "Sorry" she muttered and left me alone once again. After I had jumped in the shower I grabbed my make up bag and put on more foundation then usual, I then outlined my cheek bones with light pink blusher and put on some glittery black eyeshadow with winged eyeliner. I put on quite a lot of black mascara and highlighter my lips with a baby pink lip pen.

Happy with my make up I straightened my hair and then loosely curled the ends, it was simple but complimented my make up well. I checked the time, I only had 20 minutes to get changed. After spraying basically half a bottle of perfume I got changed into my dress and stuck on my heels. I could feel my feet beginning to hurt already, maybe I should've walked around in these before I went. I grabbed my clutch and stuck my lipstick, foundation, phone and a £20 note (just in case) in it. "ALLY! THERES SOMEONE HERE FOR YOU!" My mum called out and I exhaled nervously. I was scared to see Ashton's reaction, maybe I had gone over board. Should I get changed into something more casual? after a good 5 minutes of freaking out I gathered myself up and walked downstairs to see Ashton waiting. as he looked up a smile spread over his face. "Y-You look nice" he bit his lip and I laughed. "don't look that bad yourself" I shoved him playfully and he grabbed my hand. "Lets go" I looked down, suddenly becoming nervous. "Have a nice time!" my mum shouted and I rolled my eyes, earning a quiet laugh off ashton. "We will!" I shouted back and pulled him out of the house. "someone's eager" Ashton laughed as we walked down the path to where his car was parked. "happy birthday" I looked up, my cheeks flushing pink as he starred at me, his expression becoming serious. "Thanks" he mumbled as I climbed into his car.

----

"We're here" Ashton smiled and I looked around nervously. "Well then, shall we go?" I held back my nerves and got out of the car, Ashton following shortly behind me. "There's so many people" I gasped as I looked around and Ashton laughed in response. "who's house is this then?" I asked. it was quite a big house compared to Ashton's flat. "My friend, Riley's. He let me hold my party in it since he's away on holiday." he shrugged and greeted a few people on the way into the party. "So, What do you think?" Ashton waved his hands around and I laughed. "it looks crazy" "it is" he smirked at me and grabbed my hand again, leading me through the crowd and into the kitchen where he poured us both a vodka and coke.

I looked behind Ashton's shoulder and saw Kelsey walking towards us, a unfamiliar anger flared through me as she tapped his shoulder. "What are you doing here?" he frowned and she giggled, making my stomach churn with the sound of her voice. I'd never liked her. "I've came to wish you happy birthday, silly" she smiled and Ashton looked confused. "I've got you a present" she continued, ignoring the fact I was standing right next to her. "Yeah?" he scoffed and she grabbed his collar, kissing him roughly. I wouldn't go as far as to say I was angry, just disgusted. Ashton pushed her off, he looked at me, dazed and obviously not expecting the kiss. 'I'm sorry' he mouthed and I laughed. "I'm going to.. get some fresh air" I told Ashton but he grabbed my arm as I was about to leave. "Wait... Stay" he pleaded and I nodded and stepped back towards him, ignoring the stare from Kelsey. "am I missing something?" she asked, I looked at her questionably and she laughed sarcastically "You've brought her as your date? After you- we made her life hell?!" she raised her voice and I flinched "Things changed, we all have to grow up Kelsey" Ashton balled his fists and I could see he was getting annoyed. Kelsey turned to me, a jealous smirk on her face. "Your just a rebound, love. He's only going for you because your the only girl that won't fuck him straight away.... or have you two already-"

"No" I cut in and she smiled even wider. "Enjoy it whilst it lasts ally" she turned and left. I was both hurt and upset by the idea that Ashton was only using me as a 'rebound' it was logical but I just pushed it to the back of my mind and gulped the drink Ashton had handed to me. "woah there, love. You've got all night to get pissed" He laughed and I smiled "Look, it's the girls!" I pointed over to summer and grace, they were over near the dj booth. "let's go over then" Ashton rolled his eyes and pulled me over to them. "Hey girl!" summer greeted me and kissed my cheek "hey" I grinned sheepishly. "Ally you have to try this" grace handed me a cup with dark liquid in, I swirled it in my cup and looked up questionably. "what is it?" I asked and she laughed. "just drink it, it's nice I promise" she winked and I took a sip of the drink, it was strong and burnt the back of my throat as I swallowed it. "Ally, I'm just going to say hi to some people, stay with these" Ashton pushed me towards the girls and I nodded and he disappeared into the crowd. "We were just about to dance, you coming" summer shouted over the music. "yeah alright" I agreed and grace grabbed my hand pulling me into the crowd of dancing people. "I can't dance like this" I shook my head and everyone swayed their hips to the beat and grinded on whoever was behind them. "Of course you can! Just feel the music and move to the beat" summer smirked and began to dance, I swallowed the remains of my drink and started to move my hips to the unfamiliar song, after 10 minutes of dancing I got the hang of it and started to dance like grace and summer, becoming more confident after every drink I was offered. I can't believe I'd never been to a high school party before, this was better then any normal night at home. "We're going toilet you coming?" grace asked and I shook my head. "ill wait here for you's" they nodded and left, leaving me alone in a crowd full of strangers but for once I didn't care, I felt alive and I loved it. "hey" a voice alerted me from behind and I jumped backwards into the muscular figure. "Woah there love, give me time to introduce myself" He laughed as I whipped my head around to see the blonde haired boy behind me. "Sorry" I started to blush, he was good looking but seemed a bit big headed. "It's alright, wanna get a drink?" he offered and I laughed "better not, I think I've had more then enough" I turned back around and he grabbed my hand, bringing me face to face with him. "let's go on a walk then" his tone was more demanding this time so I agreed, not wanting to get on his bad side. "Right, this way" he pulled me out through the door, the cold air hitting me and sending a chill down my spine. "you cold?" he asked and handed me his jacket, I didn't bother to argue as I slung it over my shoulders. "thank you, what's your name then" I looked up and he smiled kindly. "my names lee" he looked down. "I'm ally" I smirked, slightly awkwardly. I wasn't used to being in situations like this. "Nice name" his eyes darted around and I laughed. "So, how do you know Ashton?" I asked trying to keep convosation flowing for as long as I could. "Oh were... mates. I guess" he shrugged but looked suspicious as he bit his lip and looked at the ground. "ALLY" a voice called after me and I turned around to see Ashton run out the house and towards mine and lees direction. "come back into the party" he touched my shoulder, panting. "I'm just talking to lee" I smiled and looked over to lee who was balling his fists. "wait have I missed something?" I asked beginning to feel the tension between the two boys. "Please, Ally" ashton pleaded and I felt bad. "Okay" I sighed giving in, i hardly knew lee and plus this was Ashton's birthday and I was his date so in a way I had to say yes. "your going to let him tell you what to do?" Lee scoffed as I handed him his jacket back. "sorry" I muttered as I walked over to Ashton's side and he grabbed my hand protectively. Lee laughed and threw his hands up in the air before leaving me and ashton alone in the deserted street. "What the fuck was that ally!" he raised his voice and I flinched. "W-what" I gulped and he took a step towards me. "I leave you for half an hour and you already left with a different boy, what the fuck!" he sounded hurt as tears brimmed in my eyes. "I'm sorry but it wasn't like that" I pleaded and he laughed. "yeah, of course it wasn't. you know, I thought you were different then all the other slags in our year who leave with a different boy every night but obviously your not!" Each word was more harsh then the next as I took a step away from him. he sighed and ran after me as I left his side and crossed the road. "I'm sorry, that was too far it's just I don't like him, he's done things before that I hate him for and im afraid he's trying to get to you too" he looked ashamed so i stopped, interested in what he had to say. "what did he do?" I asked and he looked around. "let's find somewhere else to speak" he looked down and nodded, following him to wherever he was taking me.
