It was Wednesday, and the day before Thanksgiving. I couldn't see Sebastian, considering the fact we had to leave for the east side of Washington (we live in Seattle) by three o'clock. I pull out a suitcase and pull out three shirts, a hoodie, two pairs of pajama pants, two pairs of skinny jeans, and I would pack my toiletries and hair supplies after I get ready. I looked at the clock and it was eleven. I went to the bathroom, got undressed, and hopped in the shower.
After I got out, I got dressed in my red skinny jeans, my My Chemical Romance "Danger Days" shirt, and my black high-top Converse. I dried, straightened, and teased my long, black hair, and did my daily make-up routine. I put my toiletries, straightener, and my hair supplies in my suitcase and walked downstairs to see my mom ready to go. "It's only eleven," I told her. She asked, "Why not leave early?" I replied, "Okay!"
Mom and I loaded the car and got in. We drove down the road and she asked, "How about you play your music this time and not not talk to me throughout the whole ride?" She handed me the cord part to our charger and plugged it in. "What should I play?" I asked. She said, "Anything you want. I kind of have been listening to your music a little." I looked at her with my jaw dropped. I put it on shuffle, and the first song to come on was "Basket Case" by Green Day. I looked over at Mom and she said, "Honey, before you say anything, Green Day became popular when I was your age, so I've been a big fan since then." I smiled and we sang the song. Mom and I were actually getting along, and it made me feel good.

We stop at a gas station for a quick-stop and gas. I walk in and get Mom and I a soda and a couple snacks to hold us over for the rest of the ride.
I walk up to the cash register, and the cashier says, "I like your shirt." I look down to see that I'm wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt. I look at the cashier, and he is gorgeous. Bright red hair, brown eyes, and snake bites. I put our stuff on the counter and say, "Thanks." I pull out ten dollars from my pocket and pay him.
I walk out to my mom, and she already has pumped and payed for the gas. We get in the car and drive out of the parking lot.
"Mom," I said, "the cashier in there is gorgeous." My mom looked over and asked, "What about Sebastian?" I said in argument, "Sebastian and I aren't dating officially, so I can still say a guy's cute." She nodded and said, "It happens."

"One mile!" my mom said. I nodded and looked out the window. Mom asked, "What's wrong?" I said, "They don't like me. Your sister found out that I cut, okay, I haven't cut in a while, and she told everyone. They hate me and say that I'm a disgrace to the planet." Mom shook her head and said, "No they won't. They know about Sebastian, so they'll totally forget." I replied in a hopeful tone, "I hope so."

We pull into a driveway, and I'm guessing it's our destination.
We get out of the car, grab our lugauges, and Mom says, "Okay, they haven't seen you in a while, so make sure you cover up the scars. They'll kill me and you." I nodded. It was weird why Mom wasn't all freaky when she said, "Cover up your scars." It made me feel weird on the inside.
We walk in, and my grandma comes up and hugs us. "You've gotten so big!" she says while she hugs me. She continues, "Come in! Your room is upstairs. It's also your mom's old room." I nod and walk upstairs.
On the way up, I pass a lot of pictures. Some are me and this guy I've never seen before. If I have, I don't remember him.
I walk in a room, and it was covered in posters of nineties bands: Green Day, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Offspring, and so on. I'm guessing it's my mom's room. I put my luggauge on the bed and walk back downstairs.
