Ashton had accepted his feelings that he has for Luke, but he wasn't ready to tell everyone else. Like his parents and his other friends besides Michael. He hopes that they won't act differently towards him, but he can't just yet. Honestly, he doesn't know if or when he'll tell them, he has to work up some courage first.

Luke on the other hand has already told his dad about Ashton. Knowing he wouldn't judge him whatsoever. He was going on and on about how he's so attractive. Andrew just sat there and listened, loving how happy his son is, because thats all a parent ever wants. Their kid to be happy.

Ever since their kiss, they've been getting more closer and getting to know each other more, now that Shawn wasn't in the way of them. They both loved the feeling they had so much, sometimes their faces hurt because they we're smiling too much. At school Ashton has been hanging out with Luke more often. Michael and Calum can both see the love in their eyes even if the both of them can't yet.

"Okay so who's the special girl?" Ricky smirked nudging Ashton's side a little. He scoffed as always since he's always trying to push it out of him. "Don't worry about it. Now let's get back to practice." Ashton chuckled slightly as he shook his head in amusement. "I'll get it out of you eventually!" He shouted. "I doubt that!"

It was kind of hard to sneak around his friends since they practically followed Ashton everywhere he went. But some how he managed to get away. So now Ashton was waiting by the bleachers for Luke. Hoping, none of his friends would catch him.

He laid himself down on the cold metal seat as he waited and waited for Luke. Thinking he blew him off he was about to leave with a frown, but then he heard heavy footsteps coming up behind him. "I-I'm sorry. S-something came up." Luke panted as he leaned up against the tree trying to catch his breath. "Don't worry Luke. You're here now so that's all that matters."

Luke and Ashton were chatting away, smiling and laughing. They were both happy as could be, with their hands locked in each other's.

But it was this moment Luke had wish he stayed home. Because they heard voices, voices they wish they hadn't have heard.

"So this is the 'girl' who's been making you all happy!" Ricky exclaimed with a laugh while Ashton's face turned red.

Moments of Ashton staying silent before he ever said anything. Luke thought it wouldn't be good but it was. Looks like he's going to be outed a lot sooner than he planned. So looks like he's going to come out now, even though this was not how he imagined it. He took a deep breath in and spoke.

"Yeah...I'm gay. What are you guys gonna do about it? I want who I want. It's who I am and if you guys aren't gonna be my friends then that sucks for you." He spoke up hopping down from the bleachers. His teammates were really great about it actually, except Ricky. He had a slight problem. Major problem even. He had a problem with Luke and he was going to make sure everyone else had a problem with him too. Ashton and his teammates got so caught up in the moment that he forgot about Luke. "Luke, I have to run, but I'll text you later." He spoke giving Luke a hug.

"Listen here, I'm one of the guys who've known Ashton the longest and he's not gay. Never was and never will be. Like I said stay away from him and save yourself from the humiliation." Luke shook his head. "Y-you're wrong. H-he likes me." Ricky chuckled. "It's all an act."

Luke only shook his head knowing he was lying,"The only act around here, is you." He spat which caused Ricky to slap him across the face. "You better watch it before you get yourself into something you can't handle." He threatened.

As he was walking home a voice called his name. It was Calum and Michael. "Luke? Why are you walking alone?" Michael pulled up next to him. "I wanted to be alone." He shrugged. "Holy shit, who did that to you?" Michael gaped. Calum furrowed his eyebrows at first then gaped as well seeing the red mark on his cheek. "I-I fell."

"Luke I'm your best friend and unfortunately for you I know when you're lying so you better tell us." Luke shook his head. "I told you, I fell." Michael scoffed,"Get in." Luke just stood there. "Now!" He yelled making the blonde jump in fear as he frantically reached for the door handle. Michael started driving but Luke could feel their intense stares at him.

"It was Ricky! Okay? Just don't do anything. It was only a one time thing."

"If it happens again you tell me or Ashton okay?" Luke nodded.

"Must you scare the poor boy?" Calum asked as they watched Luke go inside his house safely. "It's not my fault he scares easily." Michael laughed. They made a u-turn passing by a house with 5 smokers, which had Calum scrunch his nose in disgust.

"Ugh, I can't believe they would harm their bodies like that." Calum spike with obvious disgust in his voice and his facial expression. "You wouldn't do that to your body, would you babe?" Calum asked and Michael was quick to shake his head. "No of course not." He faked a smile while squeezing his hand.

"Dude, Calum hates people who smoke." Michael mentioned. "I thought you knew that." Ashton spoke putting his cigarette to his mouth. Michael is addicted and it's hard to stop something you've been doing for a while. He couldn't quit he was too far in. "I did but I didn't think he disliked them that bad." He frowned taking a puff of smoke in.

"Are you gonna tell him?" Ashton asked. "I mean, I could but he'll probably stop liking me and I don't want that." Ashton just nodded his head knowing that was a bad choice, but no matter what he tells him, Mikey won't listen.

The fear of Ashton coming out to his parents was so terrifying. He wanted to, but he didn't think he was ready. It's bound to happen some time so might as well make it sooner than later. He hopes his teammates won't do anything to torment Luke because he knows how they can be. He prays that they'll leave him alone.

Luke was expecting Ashton to text, but it never came. He should've known this was going to happen. He started thinking lowly of Ashton again, thinking how he's probably out with some girl or smoking again and lost track of time. But that all stopped when he received a text from him explaining why he hasn't texted. He needs to stop jumping to conclusions.

A huge grin formed on his face. Then they both ended up talking on the phone for about three hours which resulted into them falling asleep over the phone. Ashton loved it, he loved hearing Luke's voice and being able to tell if he's smiling or not by the change of his voice. Luke loved it as well. He loved hearing Ashton slight snores over the phone. He loves how happy he gets when he talks about the things he's likes, even Luke himself. All of it was adorable.
