"Ipse erit vigilantes vos"

-He will be watching you-

~~

By the time you'd gotten home, you were at the end of your nerves. There was constant tension all around you, the instance in the school yard spread like wildfire. You weren't merely as bothered by that as you were by the fact that they had suddenly disappeared, and this time properly.

Attending the rest of your classes for the day, you'd noticed that you shared all of them with at least one of the boys, but they weren't there. When the teachers did attendance, their names got called out, but they weren't present.

It unsettled you.

Furthermore, you now might now their names, but didn't know which one was which except for Hoseok and Jungkook. You had a feeling the blonde was Kim Taehyung and the grey haired one Park Jimin, as you heard two girls talk about the school yard instance, but you weren't completely sure.

Sighing, you threw your bag aside while entering the hallway, kicking the door closed behind you. It still felt weird to come back to a quiet house, but all the better for you and your forming headache.

You didn't have any specific plans for this afternoon, trailing into the living room and falling onto the sofa. Outside the sun was shining, illuminating the peaceful neighbourhood and edge of the forest, starting a few hundred meters from your backyard.

You'd already made up your mind to go there at some point, to explore the woods. They were always silent and dark, allowing you to hide away from society, alone with your thoughts. But now you were wondering if it was a good idea.

With those boys around, you felt uneasy to go out alone, practically defenceless. Uneasy to put yourself purposefully into a situation where you weren't familiar with your surroundings and easy to target. Uneasy to make yourself quite helpless.

Staring out of the window, you thoughtfully bit your bottom lip. Maybe you should wait until you knew the place a little more to go out there. That was surely the better idea...

Your stomach growled protestingly no second after. You should probably make yourself some lunch and do your homework, and then go to town and get the rest of the things you needed.

Yeah. Sounded like a plan for the rest of the day.

"Miss? Miss could you-"

The woman holding a sign and calling out to you fell quickly silent when you turned around, looking properly at her. You didn't press the matter as she awkwardly stared away, and continued to walk along the street.

These situations were wonderfully easy to avoid.

Entering the store, you headed straight to the kitchen supply section, eyes fixed upon your shopping list. In fact, you were so preoccupied with picking out the utensils that you didn't see the group of girls shuffling to glare at you from the corner.

First as you turned to grab knife from the opposite rack did you catch a glance at one of them. She was tall, with dyed red hair in a high ponytail and her perfectly manicured hands resting on her thin waist as she glared at you.

A little amused, you bit your lip, and directed your attention to your shopping again. You couldn't be quite bothered with them, not until you heard one of their hushed whispers.

"That's her, are you blind? The one that tackled Tae today".

You looked back up, curious now. They were standing before one of the shelves, collectively mumbling and sending you vicious glares. The smirk that had already formed on your lips only widened, but you pretended not to be bothered and looked back down.

"She's some psycho ex, I bet", the red haired girl hissed, "Crazy bitch that probably stalked him after they broke up" "And they all seem to hate her too", someone agreed quietly, contempt in her voice, "Which one d'you think she dated, Sunmi?"

Sunmi, or the red haired girl, thought for a few moments. "I'm guessing Tae or Hobi. Maybe Jimin too, I wouldn't put it past her to date more than one of them".

"Oh, she better back off from my Jiminie", some other girl snarled, making the rest of them murmur in agreement, "He's mine, and mine only".

You rolled your eyes at her pathetic words, suppressing a laugh. They had their backs turned to you by now, talking between them, not as quietly as they probably thought. And with that, they were also blocking your way to the exit.

Straightening up, you walked out of the aisle, coming towards them. Sunmi caught sight of you first, face blanking for a second as she realised you were approaching them.

However, her face quickly twisted into an arrogant smirk, and she broke off from her friends, standing before them.

"Iseul, right?", her voice was pretend sweet, but her face showed clearly that she didn't mean it at all. You stopped, calmly raising an eyebrow. "What, Sunmi?"

She flinched at you using her name, eyes widening with surprise. The pretend sweetness fell from her voice, and her face twisted into a snarl.

"Listen. You've been here for a day, but there's one thing you need to know".

She attempted to take a step towards you, but seemed suddenly to scared to, just staying where she was and instead raising her voice. You smirked at it, crossing your arms.

"Which would be?"

"You stay away from the Boys", she glared, jaw clenched, "You stay away from Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, Hoseok, Namjoon, Yoongi and Seokjin, you bitch".

You merely chuckled, seeing her face lose confidence at it. "Wow, what an original insult. So you all think I'm their ex?"

They all looked shocked, appalled that you knew exactly what they were saying moments before. You smiled darkly, continuing as you felt your aura rest upon the small store.

"I would love nothing less but to leave them alone. Unfortunately, they won't let me and keep chasing after me, so until the time comes that they stop pursuing me, you'll have to deal with me constantly being around".

You let your eyes wander around the group, practically feeling their anger leave them for fright.

"You seem to be possessive of them, don't you. Let me tell you, Jiminie", the girl that had mentioned him recoiled under your stare, "and all the others don't care about your petty attempts to make them yours, if you want to call it that".

Letting your words hang in the air, you paused for a second, focusing back on Sunmi. She was practically shrinking in her form, gulping under your gaze.

"Because", you waited again, leaving them to catch up on your words, "However often they flirt with you, however often they get... close, that's not their goal. And to be true, neither you nor I know what that actually is".

Choosing your words carefully, you waved your hand dismissively. "So please. Be possessive over them all you want, but I'm pretty sure that all they do is laugh about it. As attractive as they might be, they are more than that".

And not in a good way.

The girls stood stunned, watching you frightfully as you pushed past Sunmi to walk to the till. It was only then that you noticed that the entire store was completely still; the impact of your voice had left everyone quiet.

You could feel the hate and fear burn in the air, weighing heavily and affecting each and every one in near distance.

Smirking, you looked away to catch someone standing before the store, eyes flashing at you darkly before he turned and left, grey-brown hair gleaming in the sun.

One word escaped Sunmi's lips behind you in a gasp.

"Namjoon!"
