"Scientia est potentia"

- Knowledge is power-

~~

The Sons of Lust.

You wondered how you hadn't realised it before. It was like you had been shrouded in darkness, the light so close, but you didn't see it until it blinded you.

Luxuria, Latin for lust and luxury, was one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

And by that logic, so was Ira. The Sin of Wrath, to be exact.

The puzzle pieces had been aligned and neatly put together. Vaguely, you asked yourself why you didn't see it coming sooner, why you'd been stuck questioning it all for such a long time.

And like those perfectly fitting pieces, it all fell into place. The moment you woke up, panting and trying to gather yourself, it hit you, Luxuria's sentence echoing in your head.

You were descended from a Deadly Sin, something you'd always thought were mere Christian myths to keep people in order. But the proof was right there.

Your powers, aura, influence, your eyes. They were all explained with this one simple realisation, so many incidents coming rushing back, suddenly making sense.

It was almost laughable, that it was really so easy and logical, but you never even considered it amongst all the other possibilities. There had been so many hints, yet you'd never grasped fully what they meant.

After you'd woken up from that dream, a million new questions shot to your head. One of the first and the most persisting was why you were one person, and Lust's... Sons seven.

Were there other Descendants, from other Sins? Where and who were they? Distributed all across the globe? Then what were even the odds of you running into Lusts'? Was it planned? By whom?

How could you be the "Daughter of Wrath"? Were you biologically related to Ira? Did it have anything to do with the fact that your parents died when you were two years old? Were bloodlines even important; was biology in play at all when it came to the supernatural?

So many questions.

And there were only seven, maybe eight people that could answer them for you that you knew about and were more willing to talk to.

The boys and Ira herself. But seeing as you had no idea how you could possibly contact the latter, the only other Descendants you knew were your only option. After last night, you weren't keen to be around Lust again too soon.

You hesitated with this idea. On one side, you desperately wanted answers, now more than ever in your life, but after all that had happened, especially considering the dream last night, it didn't seem wise.

Luxuria's words echoed in your head. He was clearly insinuating something, like he had it all perfectly lain out. You gulped thinking of his fingers on your skin, those whispers and smiles, dangerous and seductive.

As much as you tried to repress it, you wanted more. Whatever he had done last night awakened a desire in you, and it was what urged you to go to them.

It was no wonder you weren't very present at school with all this taking up your thoughts. You didn't consider it a problem until you found yourself alone, in a classroom at lunch, and with someone else there as well.

Jimin was sitting at his desk, reading in what looked to be a very old book. You found yourself staring at him, curious if he knew about the dream. Curious to why he was sitting here reading instead of flirting with half the school, like his friends (Brothers?) outside.
