Chapter 7

{Yaoyorozu's POV}

I leave the class to catch up too Kyouka. "Tell me, did you do it?" she asks looking very perky and hopeful. I avoid her gaze, stare down and slowly shake my head.

~the events that happened after yesterday~

I try to hide any emotion of joy until I was really sure he had gone. Did that really just happen? Everything that happened has just finally sunk in.

Todoroki had basically asked me out

I walk up to my room when it suddenly hits me... My mom won't allow me to go. I sink onto my bed thinking of every way I could convince her to let me go but it all ends to one conclusion which would be her yelling at me about my continuous "rebellion"

I sigh and rub my face in complete frustration. You might think that this isn't such a big problem and that she'll let me go but NO it definitely isn't. She doesn't allow me to go to places that have nothing in relation to my Hero academics.

I lie down still dumbfounded at what I should do, when my phone starts to ring.
It's Kyouka

Kyouka: So hurry up and fill me in on the juicy details. What'd I miss? And what happened when he walked you home?

Yaoyorozu: Gah! Wait. How'd you know he walked me home?

Kyouka: Let's just say I have my sources 😏

Yaoyorozu: What are you? A stalker?

Kyouka: No, I'm simply a girl who can find out what someone's up to through my numerous connections. Now, stop stalling and spill.

Yaoyorozu: You have connections yet you can't even find out if your crush likes you back. 😏

Kyouka: For your information, I have no crush. My heart is as cold as Todoroki's right side.

Yaoyorozu: And yet, whenever you see *cough* Kaminari *cough* your demeanor immediately switches into lover girl.

Kyouka: Shut up. I called you so you would tell me what happened between the two of you, it's not supposed to return to me.

Yaoyorozu: You calling me isn't actually that bad, I need your advice for something anyways.

Kyouka: Don't tell me you and Todoroki are deciding to run away! I mean I know you both love each other deeply but you don't have to run.

Yaoyorozu: Kyouka shut up.

Kyouka bursts into a fit of laughter

Yaoyorozu: Ha ha very funny. Now if you're done laughing your butt off, I can start with the story telling.

Kyouka: ok, ok I'm done. You can start now.
Yaoyorozu: Finally. We all decided to go to the park and once we reached there, everyone started rushing towards the playground so of course, not wanting to be left out. Me and Todoroki decided to join in. We both played on the swings and apparently at some point, me and him had started a competition on who could swing higher.

Kyouka: Seriously, of all the other cliche things you could have been doing on the swing. You decide to have a competition on who could swing higher. For two people who have very high intellects, you both are rubbish when it comes to romance.

Yaoyorozu: Zip it, girl who can't even make a move on Pikachu.

Kyouka: Enough about him, continue with your "love" story and by the way imagine me using air quotations around the word love.
