Meh.

I walked back to my seat and somehow survived the first class.
Without falling asleep.
---×---

Drew's P.O.V.

I had to find out what had happened to Dina. All the bruises on her face were painful to just look at.

The poor girl must have been through a lot.

I walked through the corridors, my mind was occupied with thoughts of what might have happened to Dina.

Ughh...Why can't I get this girl out of my head?

I shook my head and continued walking.

There weren't many people in the hallway. I quickly took my math books from my locker and turned around to see three girls standing.

I jumped, taken aback.

"H-Hey girls.", I said, still not recovered from the shock.

"Hey Drew!", they said in unison.
I smiled at them.

"We were wondering if you'd help us with our practice.", one of them said.

"Umm what practice?", I asked.
"There's a marathon next month. It's only for girls. I was wondering if you could tutor us..", another girl said.

I almost burst out laughing.

Seriously? Tutoring for running?

I internally facepalmed and nodded at them. I knew all that they wanted was to get my phone number.

They squealed excitedly and scurried away.

I shook my head and walked towards my class. People were walking in groups, heading towards their classes.

As I was walking, I got distracted for no apparent reason. It might have been because of Dina...

Anyway, because of the distraction, I started hearing those voices inside my head again.

" Blue or white..."
"She's so dumb"
"Oh God what a loser..."

I shook my head to keep the voices out.

They were starting to make me dizzy.

Focus Drew! Focus on one thing! Uhhh come on! Think about something! Pineapples! Yes! Pineapples!
No! Dina! Perfect!

I thought about her lovely brown hair falling over her shoulders and vibrant eyes. Her eyes always had a shine to them, however bad a mood she might be in.

Slowly, the voices started fading and my mind became blank.

Oh no. Not again.

I did not have any control over my body. My knees gave way and I dropped to the floor.

Gosh. Telepathic power sucks so bad when you don't need it....

The last thing I saw before I passed out were a pair of vibrant green eyes.

Dina's P.O.V.

It had been like two hours in the nurse's clinic.
I had already missed two classes.
I sighed and sat beside Drew.

It looked as if he was sleeping.
"Drew? Wake up. I've got a class to get to.", I said.

I don't know why he suddenly blacked out in the middle of the corridor.

All of his amazing "fans" and his so called admirers just stood with their cell phones in their hands, clicking pictures of him while I had to carry the baby elephant to the nurse's office.
Pfft. Kidding. He's not a baby elephant. You can't just leave your colleague in the middle of the corridor while a bunch of airheads watch him so I carried him to the nurse's office

I sighed.
"Hey, Angela? Could you take care of him? I have a class to get to. I don't want another detention.", I told the nurse.

She nodded and smiled at me.

Wake up soon, Drew.

As I turned to head towards the door, I heard a groan from behind.

I turned to look at Drew who sitting up, holding the side of his head.

I laughed.
"What were you? Drunk or something?", I asked.

"Very funny.", he replied.
He got off the bed.
Angela asked him to sit on the bed and take some medicines.

I went out of the office and made my way to my next class.
---×---

"Thanks.", Drew said.

I almost hit my head on the cabinet when I jumped back.
"Whoa. When the hell did you come? Gosh! You're so sneaky!", I said.

He chuckled.

"Thanks", he repeated.

"It was not a compliment.", I scowled.
"Not for that. For taking me to the nurse."
"Yeah whatever.", I said before heading out of the kitchen.

"Hey why don't you try to hold a casual conversation with me?", Drew asked, catching hold of my arm.

How naive can this kid be?

I jerked my hand back.

"Look, I don't like talking to people, ok?", I replied.

"Is that the reason or are you scared to talk to people?", Drew said smirking.

I rolled my eyes.
"Just because I'm not a social butterfly does not mean I'm scared of talking to people.", I said.

"Are too!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!!"

"Well then prove it.", he said.
"How?", I asked.

"Participate in the coming marathon.", he smirked.
"I challenge you."

A/N
This is going to be short.

For those of you who don't know what telepathy or telepathic powers are, it is the ability to read people's minds.

Let's see if this ability of Drew's brings them closer or drifts them apart.
