Chapter 2: Unexpected Turningpoint

Chat Noir ran to his Lady to grab her. As she lays in his arms, Chat looks down to Ladybugs stomach to see how bad her injury was. "Oh my God... I-I didn't want this to happen! Instead of helping you...you got hurt because of me!",tears are rolling down his face. "It's not your fault Chat! You know that right? You couldn't have done anything against it. This enemy was way to strong for you two!" Chat didn't see that Plegg was around him. He didn't react to what Plegg said, he just kneeled on the ground, hugging his best friend, and crying.

"Your kwami i-is right Kitty...", Ladybug whispered. "Ladybug! You are alive!"-"Haha ye-yeah mostly..."-"I'm going to bring you to a hospital my Lady! Everything is going to be alright, you hear me?" He wasn't sure if he could bring her to an hospital in time, but he couldn't say that to her. Ladybugs eyes began to fall. "Hey, hey, don't fall asleep! You have to stay awake...you have to stay with me ok?"-"I'll try, but Cha-Chat, soon I will transform back. I wa-want you know tha-that it's ok if you se-see me witho-without my...", she didn't finish her sentence as her eyes closed and her head fell on Chats chest. "No,no,no,no...please don't do this to me, you hear! I-I need my lady! LADYBUG!" Chat tried to wake her up, but she wasn't sleeping. He began to run like he never did, of course, never was the life of someone in his own hands.

-Time Skip to the entrance of the hospital-

As he stood in front of the hospital, he heard the beeping of Ladybugs earrings, the sign that she will transform back. "Ok, now I will see who my Lady really is... with who I'm fighting against the evil, my partner in crime, my best friend..." As Chat said that, Ladybug transformed back. Now he just stared at his Lady. Because he realised that Ladybug is his best friend in real life too. "Ma-Marinette? Marinette is my Lady? I-I can't believe it...all the time it was Marinette with who I was fighting against crime? That means...that means I have feelings for...for Marinette! Ok first I bring Marinette into the hospital, that's the most important now. Later...Later I'll think about what I just found out."

Chat just wanted to run into the hospital as Plegg appeared: "I think it wouldn't be the best idea if you would bring Marinette into the hospital in your catwoman inspired costume... it's more explainable that you, aka Adrien, brought her to the hospital than Chat Noir, isn't it?" Chat thought about it a second, than he answered that Plegg is right and that he should transform him back. As Chat Noir was in his civilian form, aka Adrien, he ran into the hospital.

"Please! We need help! She's hurt!", Adrien shouted to the nurses, who were standing at their checkpoint. Immediately they brought a lounger, where Adrien put Marinette down. "Young man, what happened to her?", asked the nurse. "She-She was attacked with a big knife!", Adrien answered with a trembling voice. "Ok, we will do what we can for her. Should we call someone? Her parents or any other members?"-"Yeah her parents...wait I'll give you the number", Adrien was stressfully searching the number of Marinettes parents in his phone. He has the number because Marinette and he had to do a project for class, and his dad collected his smartphone because he missed a photo shoot.

"Ah, here it is!", Adrien told the nurse the number. "Not to be impolite, but who are you to that girl? Are you related to her or just a friend?" Adrien knew why the nurse was asking. She wanted to know if she was allowed to tell him confidential information about Marinette. "No I'm not related to her...I'm-I'm her boyfriend!", Adrien knew if he would have told the nurse that they are "just" best friends, he wouldn't have gotten any information.

"Alright, your girlfriend will now be brought into the op. It will take some time so if you want to go home..."-"No of course not! I will wait here until I know she's alright!"-"I knew you would say that...there are the seats where you can wait. Before I go into the op I will call your girlfriends parents... oh wait, I don't know her name. Would you please tell me her name"-"Her name is Marinette. Marinette Dupain-Cheng."-"Ok thank you."

Adrien was on his way to the seats, which the nurse showed him, when the nurse was done calling Marinettes parents. "I would think about a believable story, which you can tell Marinettes parents!", Plegg appeared again without Adrien noticing. "Shit you are right...but I don't know what to say to them. My head is empty right now. I'm thoughts are with Marinette..."-"Don't make it to complicated. Just change some details of the true story. Instead of Chat Noir and Ladybug fighting against a enemy, you two were just chilling together when you got attacked."-"Plegg, thats-thats brilliant, thanks!" Now Adrien couldn't do anything except waiting for Marinettes parents or the nurse to show up.
