Chapter 8: It's Okay To Ask For Help

Sorry for not updating, final weeks of school were killing me plus I was on vacation with my family including BlueCrey (hehe)

Gabriel stood there for a while, just staring and thinking. Suddenly it seemed like he had found the answer to his question. "No...that can't be...", he said a couple of times while walking around the room. Suddenly he stopped. "Could it be? Could Marinette be Ladybug?!

Gabriel was talking to himself: "It could be just a coincidence... what am I saying?! It would be a way to big coincidence... no I'm sure, Marinette is Ladybug! Okay maybe 90 percent sure, but wait... everyone says that Ladybug and Chat Noir are dating, but when Ladybug is Marinette, it means... that... Adrien is Chat Noir!"

"Have you heard yourself talking? I mean come on! Your son and being Chat Noir?! That would be such a coincidence since you are the enemy they are fighting...", the woman in black came back to the hidden place without permission. But Gabriel didn't notice, he was just answering: "I know how this must sound, but when you know you know it! And I didn't ask for your opinion."

"Well... should I try to kill her again? If you are that sure, I can kill her even when she's not Ladybug. Then..." Gabriel interrupted her: "No! I think it would be better if you hold back for a time, just until I'm hundred percent sure!"-"But...But I thought you are hundred percent sure..."-"Shut up I know what I said!"

-Meanwhile at Marinettes house-

After a 15 minute walk, Adrien and Marinette got home. "Where are your keys Mari?", Adrien asked. Marinettes eyes went big: "Oh my God, my parents forgot to give my the keys!"-"Wait, WHAT?!" Marinette couldn't hold it anymore: "I'm just kidding Adrien! They are in my pocket haha!"-" Thank God, I mean you could have stayed at my place, wouldn't be bad..."

Marinette's cheeks got red as cherrys. That was a answer she didn't expect since they are a couple for one week or something.

"Oh my God, I shouldn't have said that... it's not what I meant! I wouldn't want you to stay at my house! No wait that sounds just rude... Could...Could you just forget what I just said?", Adrien asked, you could see how embarrassing this situation was for him. But Marinette just laughed: "Its alright Adrien, I think it was your lower brain that was thinking!"

Now Adriens cheeks got red like cherrys. "Oh God! I-I meant... Well I don't even know what I wanted to say haha. Let's just say we are fine!"-"Works for me my Lady!"

Both of them looked at the ground, they haven't talked about the 'Ladybug and Chat Noir' thing, even if they had enough time in the hospital but nobody wanted to bring it up.

"Ehm...", Adrien wanted to start a conversation about the whole thing, but Marinette did interrupt him: "Here are the keys! Let's get into the bakery and get you something to eat..." Marinette tried to open the door but she could, she can't hold her own body weight yet. Adrien offered his help but Marinette wanted to do it by herself. Adrien didn't expect any other answer, Marinette is such a stubborn girl, if she wants something she will try and try again until she achieves her aim.

"Marinette, please give me the keys. It's okay if you can't do it by yourself, that's why I am here! I'm here to help you and it's okay to ask for help!" Marinette gave Adrien the keys. When Adrien opened the door and wanted to help Marinette get into the bakery, he noticed that Marinette was crying.

"What's wrong Mari? I didn't mean to offend you, you know that right?"-"Of course I know that! But if I can't open a door by myself how am I supposed to fight against enemys as Ladybug?" Adrien hates to see his girl cry, he even got tears in his eyes.

"It's just a matter of time! You will see, after a couple of weeks you will be able to fight enemys, I promise! Now stop crying okay? It hurts my heart to see a beautiful girl crying." Marinette had to smirk: "No matter how sad I am, you always make me laugh!" Marinette gave Adrien a kiss on his cheek.

After they entered the bakery, the first thing Adrien did was eating. Marinettes parents left tons of croissants and other stuff for them to eat. After 10 minutes Adrien almost ate half of the complete food. "Holy shit, how can you eat so much?"-"Fighting enemys requires power, and that power I am gaining from food... and training!" Marinette looked a little bit shocked: "Training? I didn't know that..." Like every girl, Marinette was pretty impressed by the fact Adrien is doing something for his body.

"I mean, I need a lot of muscles when I want to rescue beautiful women!" Marinette looked at Adrien with an arrogant face. "I-I mean... I mean to rescue you, because you are such a beautiful human being!"-"Well, first of all you rescued yourself right now haha!"

After a long time just talking to each other, Marinette and Adrien decided to go upstairs. Marinette tried to go upstairs by herself, but it didn't work, she only got 2 stairs. "Come on, let me pick you up!"-"Wait, you can't pick me up, I'm way to heavy for you..."-"Are you kidding? You would be surprised how much way I can lift! Just tell me when it hurts too much okay?"

That being said, Adrien put his hands on Marinettes legs and her back and picked her up bridal style. You could see that it was hurting Marinette. "Hold on, we are almost there!", Adrien tried to calm Marinette down.

When they finally got upstairs, Adrien  brought Marinette to the living room. When Adrien was letting Marinette down, they both heard a weird noise from downstairs. "You-You did close the door, didn't you?"-"Yeah of course I did!" They heard the noise of the squeaking stairs. "Someone is coming upstairs!"
