Chapter 6: The whole World is not just about you

"Thank you Adrien", Marinette said with a little smile on her face. "That's what boyfriends are for!" They were just about to kiss when a angry young lady stormed through the door in front of them.

Of course it was Chloe, nobody else would have made such a scene in a hospital. "I'm not going to let that happen!", she screamed while she was making her hands into fists. Right after she said that she ran to Adrien and fell around his neck. "We are meant for each other Adrikins, since we were young! You deserve someone better than Marinette, like... anyone except her! Or better...ME!"

"From who do you know that Marinette and I are in a relationship?!"-"It doesnt matter!" Chloe was about to kiss Adrien when he grabbed her arms and pushed her away.

"What is wrong with you Chloe?! Don't you see that Mari is still hurt? And you are making such a scene right now, it's really immature. And were are not meant for each other, we never were!"

Marinette and Chloe looked both at Adrien. They have never seen him like that, so ruff. He is always the perfect gentleman and never impolite to anyone.

"But why care about Marinette when you could have me as your girlfriend instead?", she said with an arrogant voice. "Don't you get it Chloe? Aren't you asking yourself why nobody wants to be your boyfriend or even be friends with you?", Adrien's voice got louder and more angry. "Stop Adrien, it's fine! Let's just go, she isn't worth it..." Marinette thought if Adrien was going to say what she thought, it would be better if he would stop talking.

"What?! I'm not worth it?! I am more worth than you will ever be! I'm the daughter of the major and I..."-"Stop Chloe!", Adrien did interrupt her, "Nobody wants to be with you because you are a terrible person! You insult other people for nothing, you are arrogant and immature for thinking that only you matter! The whole world is not just about you Chloe!"

Silence. Adrien got louder and louder while he was talking so everybody around could hear what he was saying. He was staring at Chloe and waiting for her reaction, but nothing came from her side, she was just standing there with big eyes. Marinette looked very shocked. She never thought that Adrien, the most gentle guy she knows, could stand up for her like that. She kinda liked it that he was protecting her so much. Finally Chloe opened her mouth to say something.

"I...I have to go!" As she said that she ran out of the hospital. "Huh, that was the last thing I would have expected, I thought she was going finish me off!", Adrien said with a little smirk on his face. "I did expect this. She is obviously in love with you and the things you said to her... well, even Chloe got hurt, although I thought she has a heart made out of ice." Both of them had to smirk. "Okay... after that little drama I should really bring you home so that you can relax", Adrien said. Marinette just nodded.

As they were standing in front of the hospital, Adrien grabbed his phone and called his chauffeur to pick them up. "You don't have to do this, I'm feeling well enough to walk by myself!", Marinette said with confidence. Adrien put his hand on Marinettes cheek: "You really thought that I would let you walk home by yourself?" Adrien couldn't hide a little smile. "What's so funny?", Marinette wondered. "Nothing. You are just so beautiful...", Adrien said while smirking. Marinettes cheeks blushed very quick: "Adrien... You are embarrassing me..."-"Why? My mother always told me to tell the truth so..." Both of them had to laugh. "I didn't know you could be so romantic!"-" You don't know much about me huh?"

Adrien's right. They always got well along but they never really did something together, or even talked without Alya and Nino.

"Y-Yeah you are right. I don't know much about you...", Marinette said with a uncertain voice. "Its time to change that! If we want to be a couple we have to know more about each other!", Adrien realized. "Yes I think we have to.", Marinettes said with a little smile on her face.

Adrien got closer to Marinette and put his hand on her cheek. His face got closer and closer to her face. As they closed their eyes and their lips almost touched they got interrupted by a man, whose voice is very familiar to Adrien.

"Son. What are you doing here?!"
